So that's why all my nintendo OST playlists are dead
nintendo is one of the jewiest companies there is, don't know why they get free passes
>this is actually big
No it's not. They tried this before, didn't work. Won't work this time. They'll give up in a month tops. Stop making pointless threads.
based. never and i mean NEVER try to steal from nintendo, got me?
Youtube will never not make Nintendo seethe
this is why you always download your music. don't be a zoomer.
What in the actual fuck I've tried looking for Bowser's inside story final boss theme and the channel in your picture doesn't appear in the results. It's actually real.
It's not really that surprising nor worth of a fuss. We can just pirate the CD releases, but it will be complicated for games who didn't have this
Based Nintendo. Fuck YouTube and the faggots who think they can make a living posting shitty videos. Let it all burn. Also fuck Google.
How about you stop being a cheapskate and actually pay for your music? Nintendo has every right to protect their intellectual property from leeches.
who cares
it's ok when nintendo does it!
Emuparadise didn;t come back from Nintendo's last copyright tirade. Granted it's their fault for thinking Nintendo would actually sue them over something that's not even technically illegal and wussing out.
You literally can't pay for it without importing the CD from Japan, which may not even be in print.
damn sountrack threads are finally saved
>this fag pays for music
Fucking this.
>nintendo being anti-consumer and jewish as fuck
who woulda thunk?
makes me laugh how there are always some nintencock suckers defending those jews
Yeah let me just spend my hard earned money on beeps and boops that vibrate my eardrums, sounds worthwhile
I don't see the problem. They are just removing the ability for others to make money from their products. Only the people that monetize soundtracks are being removed.
>Only the people that monetize soundtracks are being removed.
someone c/d this because that's one hell of a difference
>not even music is safe
...to steal. And it shouldn't be, tough shit faggots
How the fuck can one make money off uploading OSTs? Don't tell me they put ads in their videos or something? I always used content blockers so I wouldn't know
>Don't tell me they put ads in their videos or something
ring a ding ding baby
that youtuber doesnt have ads on any of his videos. hes literally not making a profit off the music videos that he uploads
post your official nintendo osts cds
The absolute state
Of course the one monetizing stuff that doesn't really belong to them deserve to be struck down, then. I thought they were uploading the soundtrack for us to listen, free of charge. I'm glad I use uBlock origin and a strong HOSTS file
Video game music is shit anyway. Listen to real music.
youtube.com
If I bought the game I have every right to listen to it' s music on any plattform there is. Free.
Everything else is jewry.
the youtuber in OP's pic does not have ads on any of his videos. Nintendo still blocked hundreds of his music videos
Expected the Meet 'n Fuck song to be honest.
>nintendo forcing you to buy music from their fucking eshop store
>the nintentoddler screams in joy
If they're taking down osts I imagine people who used them in videos will have all those videos removed.
Is siivagunner gonna die again?
>he doesn't know
You could just get an SPC player and download a game's tracks from a place like Zophar's Domain.
This is just a cycle, Nintendo will remove one too many and eventually caves in and allows people to upload again until the current president kicks the bucket and a new one starts this cycle all over again.
>90% of classic AVGN gets taken down
>im sure if i write it all in capital letters, no one will notice im reposting the same thread every day
Youtube Content ID is going to flag any gameplay as well.
I'm not the same person as the previous OP or OPs if there were any. I saw this thread with the exact same picture about to be archived so I thought I'd remake it because this is something I legitimately want to discuss. Is that clear enough for your paranoid mind, user?
He has his own website thankfully
Bitch elsewhere.
RETARD ALERT!
>Not even music is safe now
It was never safe retard.
MS and Sony also do the same thing.
t. uploader who lost his channel in 2013
you can demonetize videos instead of just taking them down
It's not like Nintendo games have ever had any particularly memorable soundtracks aside from a handful of catchy tunes in the Mario and Kirby games. I'd be worried if they were going to take down the Final Fantasy series OSTs though.
Don't forget that WMG era where any song got your channel knocked down.
all music owned by the big labels gets removed by a bot, I don't see how this is "big".
Holy shit, end your stupid corporate cocksucking life
I suppose they will upload their music to streaming platforms, digital stores or worse, they will include music streaming to Nintendo Online in the most retarded way possible.
I still have to find something that tops this
youtu.be
>distributing copyrighted media you have no rights to distribute is not illegal
You’re right in the sense that it isn’t a crime, you’re wrong in the sense that you believe they’d have a snowball’s chance in hell in civil court.
Holy hell. Nintendo is behaves more stuck up than my boomer neighbors
Think you'll find this one super relatable.
youtube.com
t. nintendo shill
Most Nintendo developed games have mediocre music anyways so not a big loss.
Now if they remove Megaman music and Squaresoft, Capcom, Kanami NES/SNES soundtracks etc. stuff like that I will fucking kill them.
that allows people to pirate the music still
Can't wait for all the fucking boomer suits at nintendo japan to die already, god damn it
Not a surprise, music was the first victim to copyright claims. Also, not new for Nintendo, they've pulled a lot of downloads already.
>this is actually big.
Is it?
I save everything locally so I'm not noticing anything.
Get mad.
>tfw I can still jam out to Chemical Plant Zone and Ice Cap Zone
It was roms, ackshully.
>wtf bros why can't i make an honest living peddling other people's work??
Based Nintendo reminding people to not be a filthy streamer.
Is there a fast and easy way to convert a whole youtube playlist to mp3? I have a few hundred songs on it and can't be bothered to convert them one by one. I'm already noticing a lot of missing videos on my playlist
Oneangrygamer will ignore nintendo doing this shit, be sure of it.
No, music. Before the big rom sites being taken down.
maybe now I'll actually check out soundtrack threads, fuck nintendo's kiddy lullaby shit
Just pirate it.
Trusting youtube to hold your music for you is unreliable.
At best it can be used to discover new music to listen to.
All we need to do is create subtle edits of the OG Nintendo songs:
nintendweebs will defend this
Nintendo songs are also hardly original
youtu.be
>SilvaGunner
I curse the day this guy showed up.
Can't stand this cringey memeing fuck.
Nintendo games have shit soundtracks, so it's ok.
Nintendo might not have bothered if different accounts were uploading a single soundtrack here and there. But when you try to become *the* place for video game music, then you're going to catch their attention.
This.
>SilvaGunner
>Subtle
This, except for Earthbound.
Tried looking for the classic version of crocodile cacophony and I can't find a decent video anymore. Why the fuck would nintendo do this? I just don't wanna listen to the shitty ultimate version.
Yep. It's pretty shameless.
>NES/SNES soundtracks etc.
There is not a single good song on the entire NES library.
What kind of retard even listens to music on fucking youtube of all places?
The original version is included in SSBU I believe.
>It's not like Nintendo games have ever had any particularly memorable soundtracks
Even if you're not personally a big fan, you should know how wrong this statement is.
vip started adding garbage 'remixes' and is now 10% a rotating selection of shit songs from whatever fotm game has any music at all
Earthbound music is still there. That's all I care about.
youtube.com
Oh please
youtube.com
>gay ass exentions
And nothing was lost.
Also these. Anyone with ads on videos about videogames deserves everything bad that will happen to them.
nintendo.co.jp
It's okay to use them if you add your input
I am glad they are doing it. This prevents people from using game manufacturer media with hopes of making a cheap buck. None of these faggots on youtube have any talent. They would be nowhere if they could not make lets plays and use content from game devs. The worse thing is that you people worship them for it.
>t. fuming fanboy
Fake news
Theres one half decent riff for 4 of every 50 seconds, and even then its killed by the whole "second track in the background because we can even if we dont need to" bullshit that plagues literally 90% of the console OST.
>gay ass extensions
I thought I was the only one.
I always hated these pieces of shit with a passion. It's become harder and harder over the year to find the normal length(or at least simple double loops) versions.
For super nintendo games, just download SPC files. And get the SPC700player, which comes with bass boost, and essential for getting the richest sound.
SPC files are the data of the tracks from the actual game. And the SPC700player will play back the tracks, as if it were really coming from a SNES. Plus, you can disable and enable specific channels, making it fun to play with the music.
>edit out this snare when you remake the song: the ost: part 1
>good
Music plagarism is fairly common, it's part of the tradition really
did nintendo remove video who are not monetized?
>What is Pictionary
>What is Silver Surfer
>What is Solstice youtu.be
Look faggot, (You) can't just say words. They mean things.
Why don't you just say that you've never played an NES game before.
>Not liking one of the best video game intros in video game history
Terrible fucking taste
Posting more NES musical kino
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
You could also just download nes files, which are just the roms. There are players that can play those.
What are you talking about?
Also again, just like the other guy, if you don't like Mega Man 3's Intro Music you're a giant faggot.
Pirating things you can't readily obtain otherwise is 100% fine.
question why should I care if I want video game music i'll just go somewhere else and download it, why would I think youtube is the be all end all for finding video ost's.
Kill yourself SilvaGunner you millennial piece of crap.
didn't Nintendo say a few months back that they were going to relax on people streaming their games?
I don't think it's much different than making characters or games inspired by others. Many games and stories are obviously based on others but they try to put their own spin. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
Put everything on itunes or spotify and I will buy it. Oh wait, neither has anything.
>Smash comes out
>Nintendo suddenly stops enforcing their "fuck you, pay us" program
>rakes in cash from brainlet fans of let's-players
gee willikers mister miyamoto that sure is swell of you
>What are you talking about?
Listen to the song. Listen to everything that's not the tinny bit on the high pitches. The entire rest of the track is shit.
>paying real money to listen to videogame soundtracks
user, I...
>Emuparadise didn;t come back
???
Ah gotcha, you're a homo.
Not him, but I can't find download links for nintendo roms on Emuparadise, did they move it or what happened?
please, if you enjoy the same simple snare track on repeat for a thousand years, I have some excellent 80s europop for you
user I...
So which is it? Is it dead or not?
PLEASE TELL ME
SEETHING
I really, really, really hope that you're simply pretending to be retarded.
>the homo is now dogging on 80s music too
Search for "emuparadise workaround" on google.
not every game has an official OST disc, you know. in such cases, nothing with an assigned monetary value has been stolen
>Emuparadise didn;t come back
I'm glad it's this simple to foil retards, it makes the rest of us feel secure.
>he thinks europop is music
no wonder you like NES songs, mate. Maybe you should check out lgbt yourself.
Is Nintendo the Koronba of video games?
>Nintendo removing stuff from youtube
Who cares, we piratechads already won
>he keeps continuing
I correct myself.
You need to go back to r/lgbt because Yea Forums's lgbt is too much for your boomer ass.
Christ almighty I wish I found this sooner.
*zoomer ass
is there even a way to buy nintendo osts? where the fuck do I buy golden sun's ost? there is no way.
this shit is stupid, stop it
I wasn't recommending the internet community, my friend
This sin't anything new. I've been getting copyright strikes on my videos seemingly at random, just because I was playing games without the ingame music turned off. Apparently it's ok to record the game, but it's not ok to record the music that's in the game while you're playing.
Shit's retarded.
>half the thread claims this guy has ads
>half the thread claims he doesn't
I don't know who's telling the truth but a lot of you guys are dirty fucking liars
And what are you going to do about it?
I saw a comment about an alternative option, which would be for nintendo to content claim the videos and make money off them instead. is that still a loss for them when a lot of these soundtracks aren't compiled into purchasable albums?
Open and unravel the single truth from the catbox, user.
Then how can a small developer like falcom allow all of their song to be used for free?
>a lot of you guys are dirty fucking liars
strong claim to make. can you prove any of us arent?
I was the one recommending it to you.
Only a faggot zoomer like you cannot appreciate one of the best video game soundtracks ever and only a faggot zoomer like you makes dumb comparisons when Mega Man 3's music couldn't be further from Europop and it's actually Rock, Metal and Jazz Fusion.
You're such a dumb faggot that you can't tell the difference between genres that are so different from each-other.
Only a faggot zoomer doesn't like kino music like this
youtube.com
>Implying I can buy the soundtrack to F-Zero X
Why do you attempt to prove moral superiority, not by giving away your own work instead of receiving a paycheck for it, but instead pointing at a third party who does so? It is not strong grounds to look down on Nintendo for doing something you don't do yourself.
Are you really this mad you can't unhear the snare now? I'm sorry, I guess.
Eh, the only Nintendo games with good music are the Kirby games. The rest I don’t care about.
This is nowhere near as bad as the emu paradise situation. With emu the entire website is done, even non Nintendo games. If it was just Nintendo games I would’ve just shrugged my shoulders and moved on, but no now all the PS1 and PS2 and MegaDrive and NEC games are gone too. That is what got me mad.
I hope this doesn't affect videos playing super Mario world theme . Also fuck zoytendo
They really are like the jews. If you call out their bullshit, the mods will SHUT IT DOWN.
Different guy, I honestly can't tell what is wrong with the snare in your opinion. Care to go into more detail?
It always annoys me how bad quality so many ost uploads are. What kind of early 2000’s software are these people using? You’d be hard pressed to find anything above 128kbps.
>Nintendo claims to be protecting their copyrighted works
>while trying to remove any rights that the end user has
For example, answer me this: do I have the legal right to make a copy of a game I own, especially if I burn it myself and don't download a copy off the internet? According to consumer protection laws, I am in the right, but Nintendo says that is a crime and I could be fined heavily for it.
>Kirby Cafe soundtrack comes out
>It always gets taken off youtube
Yeah nintendo let me just go to japan or buy a copy for 50 bucks off ebay
>monetizing an intellectual property you have no license to
>be surprised when the license holder rams their dick into your asshole
brainlets
also very jewish, so if anything it’s just karma
>Not having your music on an MP3
Not that I'm defending this, they can suck a fat dick.
Just go through the NES megaman soundtracks. They have a handful of preset snare beats that they reuse for the entire series until like 6
No, I don't have special snowflake ears.
I have strong manly ears so little imperfections don't bother me.
He is a zoomer faggot so his ears are sensitive to anything that isn't the faggiest smooth jazz.
The same retards that stream stuff like movies, anime and probably in the future, video games.
Remember back in the early 00’s when Sony music CDs had malware in them so when you’d pop a CD into your computer it would get royally fucked.
Censoring is OK when nintendo does it.
man chemical plant zone is still one of my favorites of all time, that song is near perfection.
The NES was limited in what it could handle.
That said the instruments in the games are pretty different from game to game.
MM3 sounds different from 1 and 2.
MM5 and 6 sounds quite a bit different from 3 an 4.
All of them have some differences in instruments but they're pretty subtle considering the NES could only do so much.
I already paid for the game.
It's also not Nintendo removing it but rather whoever is publishing the music.
I think tubeoffline has an mp3 conversation feature.
Remember that time Sony was removing Xenoblade X music from YouTube?
nothing is wrong with extensions
>download the kirby nightmare in dreamland tracks and wario land 3 tracks
>all of them are like 1 minute long tops
Most Nintendo games don't have a OST you can buy.
I already own the game faggot. Maybe nintendo should upload the fucking music themselves or let me listen to tracks whenever I want.
If it's only affecting Nintendo IP's then it's Nintendo that's doing it.
That Whang guy uses Final Fantasy music in his videos. Wonder if he'll get blocked too. He and others realized that video game music is usually ignored for copyrights.
>nothing is wrong with extensions
You're wrong as hell.
Extending to 3 minutes(like say a single loop or a double loop depending on how long the song is) fine
Extending to 15-30 minutes is nigger-tier
Final Fantasy is Square-Enix not Nintendo.
Piss off you shill
No, you didn't. The game cost millions to develop. What you already paid for was the license to play one officialle registrered copy of the game on your game console. There is a big fucking difference.
based nintendo!
they're getting rid of all the thieves who stole their music.
>Uploading full osts without any of your own input is now streaming games
As long as you add your own work, you can do everything you want
Shut up lawyer wannabe faggot.
WTF BROS WHY CANT I UPLOAD COPYRIGHT MATERIAL TO THE INTERNET
both are extensions, the point is the original soundtrack is useless since the songs are so short they're blue balls tier
BUY MUSIC? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
They are NOT removing them, just not allowing people to profit form their work.
>the music is as long as the composer made it
Who'd have thought?
so nintendo
>reality hurts my feelings!
Sorry kiddo, go masturbate to some anime.
>not even Vidya OSTs are safe from the copyright jew anymore
g-go nintendo haha
*uploads copyright material*
sue me pussy
There is a difference between just looping it once or twice to looping it 50 times you idiot.
Even many official soundtracks loop once or twice but they don't make 30 minutes nigger-tier extensions.
because Yea Forums is nintendogaf
Go back to you shill.
Nobody wants to hear you legal bullshit nobody cares about.
>Copyrighted things get hit with copyright strikes
STOP THE PRESS!
And many don't loop at all, that's the point.
Here's your OST bro, enjoy. Remember, no extensions.
>corporations literally pay to keep copyrights for hundreds of years
>actually able to copyright concepts like words and foods
>"guys copyright should be protected"
Please note, MasJ didn't prepay for the servers to last forever, and they will run out eventually. A few have already shut down.
Just pirate it then. Youtube can burn for all I care.
>What the fuck, this is actually big. Not even music is safe now
This entire thread is a fucking paid shills honey pot, what in the actual fuck happened to Yea Forums? They are not even subtle about it.
This thread just shows how fucking disconnected from reality Yea Forums is. Sure it's scummy but that's how copyright works and it's no surprise Nintendo does this kind of shit seeing as they do it ALL THE FUCKING TIME.
Are Nintendo fans the most absolute bottom of the barrel corporate bootlicking garbage fanbase in all of video games? I've never seen a group so vehemently defend a corporation that literally does not care for a single fiber of their existence yet they treat them as some sort of god.
Better that than 15 or 30, you drone.
As long as they leave th DKC remaster in peace, but i would'nt be surprised if they nuke it.
First of all once again fuck nintendo and their fanbase for putting up with their damning practices. Secondly get it while its here download all your fav Pokemon music while you still can anons!
youtube.com
Yep, nintendo can do no wrong for these fuckers. I don't know why I even bother posting in these kinds of threads because they will defend literally anything nintendo does.
The Silent Hill soundtracks are still safe so I don't care
I am pretty sure they are paid shills. No rational being can be this bootlicker without being paid for it. I mean, read their posts, it almost feels like if they are bots.
Another recommendation from me.
youtube.com
Not a single corporation "cares for your existence" you deluded retard, not Nintendo nor any other major video game publisher / developer. That's the obvious premise upon which people are arguing whether or not a company is in the right to strike down music upload. If you don't have any intelligent thing to say beyond that, don't participate in the fucking thread.
This.
If you leave it out on the internet, it will be hunted down by the control freaks. Download. Burn to discs. Hide copies in different places.
Yes I know, there's only so much space on a CD(fucking archaic format at this point pisses me off that it's still around) to contain so many tracks.
But my point was that 30 minute extensions are fucking trash.
Copyright shouldn't belong to corporations, it should belong to individuals who worked on it. Fuck management.
nintendo are leeches
Not him but you need to work on your reading comprehension.
>Nintendo censoring OSTs
Karma
>Searches Melee target test theme.
Only little is left.
The good shit seems to be left intact so far.
Post epic Super Nintendo music
youtube.com
youtube.com
At least we still have this. R-right bros?
>smashfag twitter post
Non issue. Ignored.
Actually, that's a youtuber that extends video game music to 30 minutes.
>this thread
and people say this board isn't Nintendo biased
It's over, Japan has fallen
>Just take a look when Nintendo announces a Smash character.
>Actually, that's a youtuber
Even worse
Yeah except they don't deal with their own music.
>All the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Extended tracks.
Lost
No. Yea Forums sucks the dick of countless corporations these days. A mixture of actual shills, corporate cocksuckers and people baiting and Yea Forums being full of brain dead morons falls for them every single fucking time.
Did you make this thread because people called you a delusional fanboy in the omega Labyrinth thread.
Found the one i was searching here here: youtube.com
Tell that to the Xenoblade X soundtrack.
All I'm waiting for is someone else to get copyright strike'd just so I could see how Yea Forums reacts differently
Does anyone actually buy music anymore? I've never paid for music since the internet became a thing desu.
>How about you stop being a cheapskate and actually pay for your music?
You do realize there's tons of games that simply don't have the soundtrack available for purchase, right?
You say that like anyone was striked here.
The guy pulled them down himself.
A lot of people I know use spotify
>now
You sweet summer child.
Fuck off, corporate cocksucker.
The age of open media is closing by the end of this decade, download and backup everything you can.
Fuck, I hope codename steam is so under the radar that even ninty forgot about it. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and download it.
So what has been affected anyway?
>the salty anger of people who >stream their music instead of download it
we warned you idiots and you were like "UH NOTHING WILL EVER HAPPEN TO MY YOUTUBE STREAM MUSIC THIS WAY I CAN SAVE HARDDRIVE SPACE FOR FIFA 2020 HUHUHUHUH
lmao @ your idiot lives
Just listen to their OSTs on soundcloud, freaking normies.
Either that or start bombing the thread with torrents.
Are videos like these safe?
youtu.be
>Using Emuparadise
Sorry Newfag, we don't take kindly to plebs like you. Only chads use Vimm's lair
That doesn't have a soundtrack so they won't.
I don't have sound cloud on my smart TV. YouTube is more convenient.
That's mega gay of Nintendo. It's not like you can just go out and buy most of these OSTs.
As much as I'd like to see terminal montage disappear, yes he's safe.
The ones that have been affected have OSTs you can buy user. Hell that's why they've been affected, some of these publishers get super pissy like Sony and kadokawa.
>search vidya music
>short length, low audio quality, or it has 10 seconds of silence at the end
the BING BING WAHOO autists surprise me every time
Great, thanks for the ease of mind
Blame these fuckers for ruining copyright laws for at least the next century.
>Emuparadise didn;t come back from Nintendo's last copyright tirade.
Bro...
I have the opposite problem. I only find 15 minutes extended versions and I'm too lazy to cut them out and add a decent outro with Audacity.
If you want only ones that have been put out under a label like Enterbrain have been pulled so almost all of their niche games will be ignored.
>all these dicksuckers itt defending nintendo's jewishness
what the fuck Yea Forums
>The Mirror B. themes including the one with over one millions views are down.
They are about to ruin them even further. Steamboat Willie will otherwise enter the public domain a few years from now, so Disney is already starting to lobby for a copyright extension of author’s death plus 144 years
>nintendo's
Third party publishers*
eat shit nintenfag
wouldn't it have been more profitable for them to claim the cash from all the videos they're hitting instead or is vidya music too much of a grey area for it to be worth the effort?
if there are some companies that are willing to sue for as little as a very short portion of a song played faintly in the background of a 10 second shakycam family video, what's stopping them from running away a little richer? those kinda things are detected by automated systems so why not use the same system as big music artists?
Wow, totally riveting argument.
Why don't you look up who published Splatune.
Wouldn't it just be better for them to launch a Nintendo Music youtube channel with all their existing music library and put a shitload of ads on it?
>Beta songs are gone
>Custom loops of songs are gone
>Wario Land 4 Hurry up/escaping the pyramid extension is still alive but for how long
No, making something people want available to purchase easily is the wrong thing to do for any business.
most of the bigger music artists have dedicated channels for that, but that doesn't stop reuploads. that's there the automated system comes in to detect if music is used. despite it's flaws it's very effective at giving music artists the youtube cash that would otherwise be lost from reuploads thanks to them essentially claiming the ad revenue on the videos, and from what i recall they can force ads on those videos in order to gain said profit off them
>wouldn't it have been more profitable for them to claim the cash from all the videos they're hitting instead or is vidya music too much of a grey area for it to be worth the effort?
Chances are it's a YouTube algorithm thing more than anything else. I've noticed that the only ones that have been pulled have a famous record label like defjam attached to it.
if you haven't downloaded it yet what's wrong with you
BING
>available to purchase easily
[citation needed]
Lots of game never get a commercial release for their soundtrack, for example Pokemon Colosseum. There's a demand and Nintendo is completely failing to provide supply. Right now, the "copyright infringers" is the entirety of that market, in many cases, Nintendo isn't even in the race.
People here willl non ironically defend this
I lack a pc/laptop to properly download them, Ipads are annoying, and phone has too little storage. I just have to deal with the consequences
YOU WANT RISTEN TO BING BING WAHOO?
YOU PAY NOW FUCK YOU
I genuinely didn't think someone could misunderstand that post so extensively. user, take like 5 seconds to actually read the 18 words in total and understand what the sentence means.
get someone to download it for you and share a download link for you when you're ready to nab it
you do have friends online to do that for you, right?
>Not a single corporation "cares for your existence" you deluded retard
no other company in the industry has this much of a stick up their ass about youtube videos, fan games, rom sites and the like.
if there's a way to fuck over your fanbase, nintendo will always do it, but you drones will always come crawling back begging for more.
same here bro.
>posting one of the most unoriginal smt osts ever
literally 90% of it is arrangements and remixes from old smt games
>no other company in the industry has this much of a stick up their ass about youtube videos, fan games, rom sites and the like
Except literally every single company. Hell the rom thing wasn't even Nintendo alone but a group effort.
tim follin is a mastermind
youtube.com
youtube.com
>Except literally every single company.
wrong. you don't see sony giving a fuck about rom sites in 2019 like nintendo does. you will never see anything like sonic mania come out of nintendo because they're so autistic against fan games.
What did you expect.
People here just want to hate Nintendo without actually doing any real research into if they're they cause or not. Which is funny because this didn't happen four years ago when the XCX soundtrack was being removed from YouTube.
>you don't see sony giving a fuck about rom sites in 2019 like nintendo does.
You're joking right. user, Sony makes stealth takedowns all the time especially for music, the difference is that Sony doesn't attract attention so no one talks about it.
i'm talking about rom sites. the rom sites that have been shutting down lately have all been because of nintendo specifically. they see emulation as competition for their overpriced "classic consoles" and they're trying to shut it down.
kys
Friendly reminder: Article 11&13 in EU will cause a supergau on youtube, it already passed and now you have a deadline til it turns into power. Save anything you value NOW while you still can.
>listening to music on YouTube
>instead of downloading full albums
For a question that starts with ''but where can I download them?'' I would say torrents, but it's not like the majority of people here knows how to use them.
I couldn't imagine being this upset about someone taking down a youtube video. Can you even spend a single moment not sucking alphabet cock?
The ones I do have in real life don’t know how to do it properly (and teaching them over online will bring more hassle than its worth). I’ll just try to make do with what I have already saved. Thanks for trying.
>Copyright infringement is stealing
oh dear lord, please pick up a book
>you don't see sony giving a fuck about rom sites in 2019 like nintendo does
Not him but for a while it was hard to find ps1 games because Sony were taking them down for the ps1 classic.
That's kind of moving the goalposts you know. Nintendo didn't target the sites specifically but told them to remove THEIR games only just like Sony even with loverom they sued them because they refused.
That said removing Nintendo games is a huge blow because that's all everyone ever goes to a rom site for so that ad revenue and whatnot goes way down forcing them to close.
>It's okay when Nintendoes it
But user can't you see???? They've been releasing the same game for 20 years, that makes them GREAT and Yea Forums should be NintendoGAF forever??
>cucks will unironically defend this
Jesus christ, how deep does the Nintendo plagiarism rabbit hole go?
In fact, to a lesser extent all of Japan is ripoff utopia. I mean it, the Japs are not that much better than the gooks and chinks in terms of being creative thieves.
Torrents are so dead nowadays.
Good luck if you're not on a private tracker. Fucking pussies doomed us all.
Besides, streaming from youtube is just more convenient.
understandable user, i'd offer to but i'd likely be just as stupid as them when trying
if anything you'll probably just have to look on other sources like vimeo or pornhub for them instead
That's pure marketing for you
i've never had any difficulty finding ps1 games. meanwhile, nintendo shut down some of the most prominent sites like emuparadise.
In a previous thread i found out that several Pokémon and Zelda songs are plagiarized.
FUCKIN BASED
I know of a few Zelda plagies but none from Pokemon, please post them
>nintendo shut down some of the most prominent sites like emuparadise.
They didn't even sue or DMCA them. Emuparadise got scared and shut down of their own volition. Even then they still only went after their own games.
>he didn't get the workaround
big oof
Meh what gives
I was sick of always finding these guys videos when I looked up for a Vida ost on YouTube
I don't understand the motivation in doing this for Nintendo. If you take the videos down then nobody hears the music and nobody even knows it exists. This isn't a lost sale. Why is Nintendo so retarded and why are Nintendo fans such bootlickers?
meanwhile didn't capcom put a huge archive of some of their biggest and best game ost's on spotify for free last year?
this kind of stuff is what makes me don't want to buy any Nintendo sells. Just stick to Sony, Sega and PC games.
All I want is for Nintendo to follow the example of SNK, Sega and others and put their OSTs on Spotify
It's their good right to remove those "videos".
Don't think it's a good idea, though.
Probably NoA or NoE, and not NCL.
Simple, they aren't. YouTube recently changed how they check for copyrighted material and a lot of soundtracks for games, movies, anime etc have been removed.
>BUYING MUSIC
ehh, I posted it for the cover art.
that being said, I disagree with "LITERALLY 90%" - it's like 2/5 (still a lot) at most, and im counting songs that were inspired, not just copied
to me it felt like a love letter more than a self-ripoff. just muh ohpinyun and all
OK, you are right. I am a huge B-filmophile and some things just can't be found on torrent (Not Another B Movie, Mongolian Death Worm, Barn of the Blood Llama...), but when it comes to music I always find there what I need. Especially OSTs from games.
But sure, I download music from Youtube, too. Usually chillwave/synthwave mixes.
>ripoff utopia
Since infringing on copyright in Japan is a crime that is "only" acted upon, if the victim declares itself to be one. Which seems far more reasonable than the shit we have to deal with in the West.
That's what makes the entire doujin-sphere possible in the first place. The companies largely agree that it's good that people create (and sell) derivative works on a small scale.
If they don't like what is being created, they have all the power they could possibly have to stop it. See "faithful tepig".
>Nintendogaf doesn't exist
If it does then we wouldn't even have this thread.
Nintendo are kikes the people that uploaded the OST's maybe earned a few dollars at most
Weird. Posting shit owned by someone else and putting ads in front of it has consequences.
every single sound you hear is some sort of beep or boop at a different frequency that vibrates your ear drums
Nice deflection shill
and i don't pay for a single one of those noises faggot
Other than on print CDs that are long sold out for the other older games.
Nintendo doesn't have any soundtracks that they own on digital storefronts you massive idiot
>tfw I've had an EPforums account since 2010 and can just get direct DL links from it
Feels good, to be honest.
Nostalgia makes people think Nintendo is their old friend and can do no wrong
Third worlders ITT
reeks of spics
And somehow, this hurts you. A lot.
Not him but you do know that those ones haven't been taken down right? The only ones affected are the ones that have OSTs where the publishing rights belong to another company.
Everything else is being panic pulled.
Then why are they criticised more harshly than anyone else? Truth is no one sees Nintendo as a friend.
Nintendo always does the right thing.
>those mangled teeth
>the hand on the left
>same pose repeated on the right
>"sleeves cover your armpit and side boobs so girls can feel safe"
how the fuck did you even get this picture
This! This! So much this!
>People falling for this obvious bait
Literally who cares about streaming music.
Just pirate bro
No, savvy.
The people who want to listen to that music
Based. Only SNOYpony trannies who advocate censorship will argue this.
Wait people actually listen to the original bleep bloop console version of nintendo songs? Why not listen to remixes that actually put in actual instruments? Those aren't getting taken down too are they?
>He worships california SNOY, which censors games.
Welcome to the "we hate Nintendo" board circa 2012
Why doesn’t Nintendo just post their music on their own channel or on a channel for Nintendo music?
This bullshit won’t be as bad if Nintendo provided the same things before taking those videos down.
Dilate
They would if they knew it would be taken down.
Why would Nintendo take down their own channel?
I’m talking about Nintendo themselves creating/uploading their own music.
At the very least, make the CDs they have available forever and available in the west.
This is just another example of copyright laws and Nintendo’s ego screwing over their own fans.
>Why would Nintendo take down their own channel
Reading comprehension user. If they knew the music was going to be taken down they would have an alternative like every other time.
Why is Waluigi Pinball the one remaining track from SSBB?
Because he's pulling it manually
Honestly, the real headline I'm reading is
>People regularly use Youtube to listen to music
Normalfags don't know any better, but the rest of us know that there are a dozen ways to get music before having to pay for them.
I remember how they do this with persona once every few months. Nobody really goes out of their way to mention that but it makes it annoying to find the tracks sometimes
Of course they won't mention it they don't get as much attention.
There is, but YouTube is by far the easiest, and what if Nintendo takes down those dozen other methods of free music?
The other methods don't have algorithms so I doubt that.
It helps to have a melody that almost no other video game tune has. SEGA made a big mistake not hiring that guy for Sonic 3K.
>and what if Nintendo takes down those dozen other methods of free music?
Then I'll laugh at the people that come after me, since I already have it.
Imagine not knowing video website alternatives. Especially the delicious ones that don't require javascript.
based
>Then why are they criticised more harshly than anyone else?
what?
Do you even know where you are?
The youtube zoomer generation was a mistake.
Surely those Jews aren't hoping people will actually buy game OSTs... or worse yet, the game itself for the music alone?
Just use soulseek and download what you like.
because Yea Forums are a bunch of nintendo shills now
>Only Jews want to be compensated for their hard work
Wait what.
do you?
Why don't you make your own music to make money off?
Nintendo haven't actually taken down anything. Usually there's a message saying "this has been claimed by X" but they all have been removed by the user.
Thanks for proving my point.
Now how will I listen to Captain Falcons theme from F-Zero GX before I go to church? youtu.be
Strange, there like dozens of other Youtube channels that upload's Nintendo music and they haven't been brought down. Some even have millions of views.
>sega, capcom and sony have their ost's in spotify
>expects me to import old cd's
Surely it cannot be that snoys are trying their latest astroturf shitpost war tactics?
It's okay when Nintendo does it. We're on Yea ForumstendoGaf.
Have noticed as well, though it just seems to have hit extended playlists for me. Is there anyway of indexing and exporting the titles my ost playlist?
Really gay of nintendo to do this, looking at it from a fan and presorvationist standpoint.
That's certainly why there's a lot of shitposting here and no actual research but there's something going on otherwise the guy wouldn't be pulling his music.
Its also worth noting that in the past Nintendo hasn't really cared much about their music being on YouTube. Even during the period of their partner program shenanigans they didn't pull them personally. In fact the only Nintendo music pulled in that period was pulled by Sony.
He never had ads.
I would know, I use the Switch Youtube App as quick and easy Music Player whenever I work out. I never once had an ad when I used playlists from his channel.
His uploads of non-Nintendo Music is still up, so you can still see he never monetized his shit.
youtube.com
youtube.com
>steal other peoples work
>want to make money off it
>they stop you
>cry like a baby
Are you guys black or female?
Nintendo don't pull down videos, they just cannot be monetized with the content ID match system.
>earned
I really don't understand the mods these days. Mods have always been faggots, but nowadays they'll do just as you said and shut down certain stuff, like links to sites where you can pirate licensed hentai. No one cared about this in 2006.
Do you think Disney will ever stop attempting to extend the deadline for copyrighted material to eternally keep MUH MOUSE theirs alone? How many more times until the government all but steps their foot down because even they are getting tired of Disney being a giant autist over MUH ORIGINAL THE CHARACTERS like they are fucking Ken Penders?
>No one cared about this in 2006
What are you talking about? Piracy threads would be an instant delete back in the day. Hell, that's half the reason why /rs/ happened the following year.
OK, so I actually listened to this guy's channel on a regular basis. What are my alternatives for high quality Nintendo music recordings? Is there some way to torrent it? I wish I would have backed it up with Youtube-mp3 because there are a lot of songs I straight up can't find in decent quality
Honestly who cares. Public domain just means people can create shameless copies.
Any other channel with extended versions?
Download the brstm's yourself, or whatever format the respective gen had.
>High quality
>youtube/mp3
lmao
>spend 5 seconds searching on youtube
>find another channel
Well frankly someone should notify all the people whose works have been ripped off to line Nintendo's coffers and get the ball rolling. That'll send a message.
>nintenfag
You're upset that they're removing Nintendo music, so you're obviously a Nintendo fanboy yourself. So why use this word?
Where do you guys get your music? I've been using youtube for years but recently I tried searching for an mp3 on google and I could only find sites that gave my computer AIDS
Their jewery goes deeper than just shady shitty business practices.
As if downloading youtube videos as mp3's is any better. Literally just use google. There's a handful of ways to get music in 320/FLAC.
Just so you know no infringement is taking place.
That unsubtle, huh
AFAIK no. Not for most Nintendo stuff
Compared to other shit on Youtube brstm was great. At least they were actual rips of the original audio and not some shitty analog recording. And downloading them isn't an option now since he took them down without warning.
People say this, but I can't find anything on Google. For something as obscure as looped versions of a specific song, Google isn't a reliable way to find it.
>Compared to other shit on Youtube
Irrelevant to what I was saying. I said all of youtube was shit. That his stuff was the best of shit doesn't make it not shit.
>And downloading them isn't an option now since he took them down without warning.
"them"? I never said to download his videos, because it's shit.
>bowsette was 8 EIGHT FUCKING MONTHS ago
Sorry user, this is my first time on Yea Forums in 56 days, before that I wasn't even getting on since feb. I'm going fucking insane at how fast time is going right now
I use youtube for most stuff, but if I can't find it just googling "[Game] OST" Should bring up plenty of results.
A site that's been pretty reliable for me for a while now is khinsider, which archives a lot of Vidya OST albums and doesn't have any cancer ads from the time I've been using it.
NINTENDO ISN'T REMOVING THE MUSIC RETARDS
THEY'RE JUST RUNNING ADS
THE MUSIC UPLOADERS ARE REMOVING THE VIDEOS
Yeah, I’ll be sure to buy all those soundtracks that aren’t available for purchase.
BrawlBRSTMs never monetized any of their videos, though.
they'll be brought down next, since bingtendies are defending this.
What specific alternative do you suggest then, for example, if I want to get high quality rips of the Pokemon XD/Colosseum soundtracks? "Just Google it lol" doesn't help. Is there some kind of software that would let me extract it directly from the rom?
Uh oh, alpharad might be in trouble now...
Nintendo claims the videos and makes the money off the ads. No one is actually making money from uploading OST's
Hopefully
I found a download source fast enough by just searching. And yeah, there are ways to cerate brstms yourself.
Stop asking to be spoonfed. There are programs where you can find music including OST's.
>All of the youtube only Covers and remixes gone
OH NO
>do I have the legal right to make a copy of a game I own
No, you don’t. The DMCA forbids this if you don’t have authorization from the rights holder.
This channel never monetized any of their videos, retard.
>removes ROMs from multiple sites
>offers nothing in return, just the 20 NES games they have released time and time again
>removes all nintendo music from youtube
>0 possibility of a "nintendo tunes" store
it's like they want us to hate them
Covers and remixes are safe, only tracks that are DIRECTLY from the games are an issue. But since this is Nintendo we're talking about here there's a chance they may bungle it and include those.
Nintendo gave them copyright strikes, though. I think if you get too many then your channel gets banned. Even if Nintendo didn’t force them to take down the videos, they still had no choice but to take the videos down anyway to prevent the whole channel from being banned.
Good thing I download my OSTs from dubious websites then.
Still have my hard drive songs, not much else I can ask for and there's bloody torrents for it.
>Nintendo gave them copyright strikes
Actually we don't have any reports of strikes from Nintendo.
Nintendo's legal team is jerking off to your comment.
