For super nintendo games, just download SPC files. And get the SPC700player, which comes with bass boost, and essential for getting the richest sound.

SPC files are the data of the tracks from the actual game. And the SPC700player will play back the tracks, as if it were really coming from a SNES. Plus, you can disable and enable specific channels, making it fun to play with the music.

most of the bigger music artists have dedicated channels for that, but that doesn't stop reuploads. that's there the automated system comes in to detect if music is used. despite it's flaws it's very effective at giving music artists the youtube cash that would otherwise be lost from reuploads thanks to them essentially claiming the ad revenue on the videos, and from what i recall they can force ads on those videos in order to gain said profit off them

A site that's been pretty reliable for me for a while now is khinsider, which archives a lot of Vidya OST albums and doesn't have any cancer ads from the time I've been using it.

Covers and remixes are safe, only tracks that are DIRECTLY from the games are an issue. But since this is Nintendo we're talking about here there's a chance they may bungle it and include those.

Nintendo gave them copyright strikes, though. I think if you get too many then your channel gets banned. Even if Nintendo didn’t force them to take down the videos, they still had no choice but to take the videos down anyway to prevent the whole channel from being banned.
