At global launch, people complained about the garbage daily rewards, so it was changes to give you a single free pull a day. Keep in mind that the rate for a 5* unit is 1%. Recently, SEGA announced that they'd return the rewards back to the jap version's, which was what people were complaining about at launch.
That's not to mention the absolutely disgusting power creep, with the demons in question mainly being gacha-only and the fusion pool's been neglected as a result. I don't know if it was an attempt to fix this, but SEGA announced long ago that Hero and Fiend demons, the most broken and gacha-exclusive demons, would be fusable at some point, but that has yet to be implemented.
Small sales have also been removed, with only big packages remaining. Pretend this game doesn't exist and move on.

I'd recommend Cinderella Girls or Theater Days, there's Bandori but I never played it.
For other gacha games it's the usual gbf/fgo/feh trio. In terms of grinding feh is the lightest. You can also try Girls Frontline but it's just Azur Lane with Guns instead of Ships.

I'm stuck in the story mode though, it seems to powercreep the FUCK up very suddenly.

Fire Emblem heroes, can be torterous sometimes when it comes to summons, cause of the arena meta. like any unit is good if you +10 them with right IVs but the matter of "chance" to get the heroes is already oversaturated, and acquiring F2P orbs is scarce for older players. you can save orbs for 2-3 months and try out a legendary pool, and possibly get like 3 5* star heroes out of using 100+ orbs or so. I remember trying to get Performing Arts Olivia during L!Ephraim's event, i spent over 200$ on orbs and got her in my last circle, all for the meta. Then when Pegasus Olivia, Maribelle and Sumia came out, I spent over 300$ on orbs to get them, i got a few 5-star heroes along with those 3, all for the meta. after that, i became strictly f2p cause I couldn't stand wasting my money for pngs.

I'll admit that it's pretty much exclusively an oldfag challenge. That's why I like that it doesn't give any additional rewards past the once-daily fragment and three minor rewards. It's a reason to focus on completing it every day, but the maxed out people aren't forced to grind it or that excludes new players who can't even participate.
New players who can't even get into the room are going to be out about half a golden key and a quarter a sunstone, which is not all that much.

True, but we're talking about one daily Nightmare fight versus the entire event. Brand new players can certain still participate in the event, and even get carried through EX. Nightmare just gives people who cakewalk through EX something to actually do.
Also, it's not quite a pure DPS requirement. Baiting to cancel the charge, and destroying the right hand to turn those purple AoEs into red, will vastly improve how much damage a group can do compared to a group that need to scramble to avoid all that. So it is still some smart play, on top of the DPS needed.

Pick your desired gacha, check the wiki for tier list and reroll till you get the best unit that can carry you or your favorite waifu, pool your draw resources for limited units, usually in the 3rd year gacha games tend to be very generous providing they manage to survive and not close shop, you'll probably get lots of high rarity units by then without spending a dime unless you play Cygames gacha. BE is fucking trash There are a lot of skills, but 90% of them tend to be useless on a character. It also has the issue of needing two of a 5* to not be worthless straight up and JP has been fucking up hard by fucking over one of their pity systems.
OO characters only have 2-3 (soon 4) skills, but each character plays differently and choosing the right character for a fight/team can make a difference. Has some issues with powercreep, but JP has been improving that lately.
RK is probably the most customizable with characters having two ability slots and their own unique attacks called soul breaks, but it's also the most gating of the bunch due to end game needing element set ups, realm set ups (Basically a team all from 7, a team all from 12, etc), etc.
Can't speak for Mobius, I hear it has the best story in part, but the entire thing is mostly auto in part 1 and part 2 apparently has a crap story.

/drag/ is pretty bad, and the quality of people you find there vastly depends on what time you visit. The timeframe about five hours ago, at that time of day, are pretty elitist. The timeframe around five hours from now are pretty chill and willing to help new players out. Who you can play with will greatly determine how well you can play the game.
You can do pubs well, but you pretty much need to be competent at the stage already. The only pubs I clear consistently are the ones that I can clear solo if I needed to.

when I stopped I was trying my way to make weapons for void zephyr and void agni, but from 10 pubs 8 failed because nobody except me had dull weapons.
then I got stuck in the FEH event trying to do the alberian front, tried luck in drag but everyone was doing the hardest difficulty instead.
basically I was stuck hoping there was a good pub AKA some dude with 5k might doing low level content for some reason or people willing to help me, but obviously wings are so precious people would rather use it on hard content instead of helping my beginner's ass.

i dropped that right around 2 chapters before book 1 ended, and came back a year later to find it was even worse in terms of powercreep. It was doing kind of decent at launch and my boy hector had all the fun in the world. Now he's almost trash tier i believe, in contrast to my FGO boys who even at lowest rarities still remain usable.

yes they give a lot of pulls free,and most pve heroes are brought in focuses or rate up often..most units are pvp so if u really want to compete in top tier pvp you have to be a whale

Basically no one, anywhere, can make use of that system, it was only even implemented in order to make the game compliant with Japanese law. Unlike in most games, there's no way to guarantee that you'll get the character you want, no matter how much you spend. You could spend thousands on a single banner and still not get shit.
