How long will we have to wait for a JRPG of Xenoblade 2's caliber? Even when it was cheesy, it was fun. I fell in love with the characters. The only game that ever made me feel this way before was Chrono Trigger, and that was the early 90s. I think Xenoblade 2 even surpassed that game in awesomeness.
Please tell me the wait won't be so long this time.
>How long will we have to wait for a JRPG of Xenoblade 2's caliber? Slow down there, user. Anywho, whenever Monolith Soft releases their next project. We should be seeing something this E3 given the gap between their announcements, but we'll see.
Jacob Campbell
As you can see Xenocringe 2 is beloved by weebs for its fantastic story and gameplay!
this is the most sarcastic game i have played in 19 years, i can feel koh kojima pissing himself laughing at this.
Jace Edwards
Granblue Relink is going to revitalize the JRPG genre That shit has an unlimited budget and has been in development for like 4 or 5 years at this point and they said they're still adding content And the combat looks fucking amazing too
Matthew Bailey
Granblue Relink But that's going to be a generic musou game
Unironically I'm more interested in playing Code Vein (whenever it releases) than play XC2 again. The game gets tiring after awhile.
Andrew Diaz
You are a giant fucking retard if you think Granblue Relink is a musou youtu.be/J8dRStNJ_kM It's a proper open world APRG, and they've said this several times.
Henry Edwards
Have sex
Ethan Russell
A year later for Dragon Quest XI. After that....I don't know. No one wants to make high quality JRPGs that aren't indie sprite shit. Holy shit was Octopath disappointing as fuck.
James Roberts
Not long. XC2 is a good game. Lots of good jrpgs have come out. In fact a better one came out early than it. Persona 5. Try it out and your welcome.
How? Granblue has incredible art, music, and world building I've wanted the mobile game to get something like this, this is what all gacha should lead to Funding actually incredibly good looking games Thankfully CyGames is run by people who actually like video games, unlike Fate lol
Blake Baker
Impossible mode: You first

Ethan Martin
Why would you want another RPG thats mediocre or worse in every aspect but anime girls? If it wasn't literally a waifu collector and/or wasn't on switch, it would have gotten at best no attention and at worse terrible reviews.
I hate navigating this stupid fucking ship so much. Also, it's bullshit that Jin was never made available in the main game aside from this one challenge and chapter 8. His moveset is fun.
This Pyra is for pure vaginal sex while Mythra is for violent anal.
Colton Murphy
It's a fantastic game, you should absolutely play it. The combat might feel a little dated since you've played 2, but I think it's still held up well. The story is pretty standard JRPG fare, but it's executed extremely well, and the dub is great, which helps a lot.
Alexander Garcia
>Persona 5. That's my second favorite JRPG of this millennium, no doubt. XC2 has a slight edge. The new Persona 5 expanded edition may change that, however.
Carter Baker
If you like XC2 for the waifus, then you prob wont like XC1. If you like XC2 for basically any other reason, XC1 is better.
Dylan Barnes
More memes of Mythra and Pyra pls
Nolan Perry
XC1 is better than XC2 in every way except for side content so if you liked XC2 you will by default like XC1
Leo Sanchez
Don't worry, something far better is in the works.
Why did this game even have dungeons? They were literally pointless. The ship, the Mor Ardain factory, the World Tree, they were all weak. The Spirit Crusible was the only dungeon that had some semblance of quality.
GF. If I want a mommy I’d get a MILF. And Pyra sure as hell aint a MILF. Besides if she was my mother I wouldn’t be able to fuck her.
Zachary Brooks
the core xenoblade gameplay doesn't even mesh with the idea behind dungeons, there's no mp management or anything that presents a long-term threat, just take dungeons out of the entire series
You do realize that Atlus has seperate teams for seperate series, yes? No clue where you got the B team from
Joseph Lopez
>Recent interview with the developer saying it was in smooth development >It won't be on Switch user, uh..?
Noah Roberts
Did someone really recreate the image of some spyro characters shitting on a sandwich with the Xenoblade 2 cast?
Carson Williams
People said the same thing about Persona 5 after it was delayed for the billionth time, but it still released. That's simply how Atlus operates.
Anthony Davis
No, it's just a photoshop.
Jayden Barnes
Oh okay. Source on the Nia image then, if it's not scat?
Kayden Moore
>grubble >incredible world building Incredible for a mobage, I guess. I wouldn't have so much faith in relink either, it's had a long development cycle kept under pretty tight wraps and Platinum leaving halfway through is not a good sign at all.

GJ lads. Anyone got the Laughing Girls meme with them?
Noah Reed
It's good, but despite what a lot of people tell you the second game is definitely an improvement in a lot of ways. You'll appreciate both games more if you play both of them, though, so definitely do that.
Jose Price

Persona 5 is babys first JRPG. Tasteless trash that ruined an entire series. Go cleab your tongue filthy retard
Luis Moore
>better whine about P5 in every RPG thread why?
Evan Turner
Ignore the nostalgia fags. XC1 has MUCH worse vombat system. It's basically 15% of the combat of 2. Soundtrack is slightly worse. Exploration is MUCH worse. Story has insanely boring parts. It's still good but expect to drop it halfway through
Nicholas Sanchez
Because Persona 5 faggots keep mentioning the game like it's revelant in any way
Grayson Gonzalez
I love my wife Pyra!
Anthony Collins
Why are these blatant shitposting threads allowed? I've seen OP's retarded "Will we ever get a game as good as XC2" falseflag like 50 times now, this game's reputation on Yea Forums is unsalvageable, and anyone posting in this thread and approving of it is part of the problem, I hate you all.
William Sanders

Xenoblade 2 is babys first JRPG, Tasteless trash that ruined an entire series. Go cleab your tongue filthy retard
I'll only care if Revo is back. A jRPG is only as good as its music, and Bravely 2 was disappointing because of that.

>have to wait until 2021 for the next monolith Soft game Fuck everything.
Isaac Scott
It's this E3 or never. If they don't show their new game next month, it will indeed be a 2021 game at the earliest. If they show it next month, then it's 2020.
E3 isn't the be all end all for new game announcements anymore. It could be announced in any direct like most big titles have been recently.
Anthony Green
There's no way it's being shown this year, and being prepped for release the year after. Monolith are working on at least 2 games right now. Sure would be nice if that Zelda thing turned out to be a Legend of Zelda RPG in the Breath of the Wild engine, with the same art style.
Jace Watson
The virgin Mythra >Try to mimic what she sees in porn, scratching your dick with her teeth in the process >Accidentally bites you >Has to stop every 10s to not vomit because of gag reflex >Will beat the shit out of you for cumming in her mouth
The Chad Pyra >Goes back and forth slowly so you can feel every movements >Use tongue and lot of saliva >No gag reflex >Swallows
Michael Sanchez
The Zelda announcement is most likely Monolith asked by Nintendo to help them again on BotW's successor like they did for BotW. As for the supposed fantasy action game, if the first job ad wasn't actually for Zelda but indeed for a new IP fantasy action game, then it's already been there since 2017 I think? We can assume they started working on this game in 2017, or at least do its pre-production phase, so a standard 3 years dev time until its 2020 release. An E3 announcement could very well happen (but no playable gameplay on the floor, just a trailer), though I'm not especially expecting it.
Mythra. Pyra is great but the idea of looking down to see Mytrha's mildly frustrated expression turn soft when I cum is 10/10.
Lucas Carter
>>Will beat the shit out of you for cumming in her mouth Oh please. If you've got her sucking your dick you've long since unlocked the insecure sub who just wants to be accepted she hides under all that domineering bitchiness.
XC2 and DQXI basically set the bar too high for the other JRPGs.
Aiden Ortiz
They really do. And I just found out today that Finch's heart to heart on the titan battleship is different depending on how far into the game you are.
>When will we get a JRPG with a branching story? We already got countless of them, it would help if you faggots actually tried to play videogames instead of buying uninspired trash because your dick told you so.
could you imagine hugging her from behind and her noticing your erection and she smiles without even looking back and starts to slowly moves her ass up and down, inviting you to be more more bold and pull down her shorts and get a thigh or butt job while she cooks
This has always made me curious. We know they can change into swimsuits in the game. But let's say a regular blade like Vale or someone wore different clothes than her normal clothes. Her driver happens to kick the bucket. Would her core crystal just be laying there in a pile of her new clothes? Would her default clothes that was probably waiting in her closet back home disappear or go back into the crystal with her? If not would her next driver awaken her naked?
I hope we get some confirmation that it's still in the works. Monolith Soft have become my favorite JRPG developers.
>blessed with the ability to draw godlike tomboys >unbelievably hot Dragon Quest 3 female hero doujins >only draws yaoi There is no god.
Mason Ross
Friendly reminder that OP is an elaborate shitposter and falseflagger who hates this game and JRPGs in general and has been making threads like this for over a year.
Jeremiah Nguyen
Imagine trying to keep all your female blades sexually and emotionally satisfied.
Connor Lewis
I don't wanna get banned again I always end up going full mommy mode in Pyra and Palutena threads. Sorry to be a tease.
Well to actually talk about the game, I've finally almost collected all the rare blades. All I'm missing is Theory (just never did the quest) and Poppi Buster and I'm gonna try to get them now. Feels good to be so close.
I definitely have a sweet spot for wedding dresses.
Other than branching storylines, I wouldn't mind something more akin to "alternate storyline". I'm surprised nobody ever thought of using DLCs to do something like this. Malosblade Chronicles, when
I want to massage and grope Nia's petite body in ways that make her flustered.
Connor Martinez
You're so lucky, I am missign Elektra and Agate. Fuck getting the last few gacha blades.
Jaxon Evans
>Even when it was cheesy, it was fun. I fell in love with the characters. I feel the same way. Been playing NG+ and I realized this more than ever. Good game.
Brody Rodriguez
Do you know about how the boosters can help force getting blades of a certain element?
Elijah Hall
Those work on rare blades? I did not know that.
Josiah Scott
Xenoblade 2 fags are the worst kind of fandom.
Joseph Cox
>Being upset that other people are enjoying video games.
Mhmm. Fortunately for you, compassion boosters will help you go for both Electra and Agate as they are electric and earth element and that's what compassion gets you. What you want to do, is keep using nothing but compassion boosters on a character that has the highest compassion stat. Open cores until you can't open anymore. Here's the trick. Instead of just deleting any old blade to make more room, make sure you DON'T delete electric and earth element blades. There can only be so many of them to my knowledge and you can't get one you already have. Basically every blade of this elements you get is getting you a step closer as long as you don't release them. Also equip your driver with accessories and blades that raise luck obviously. Best of luck! Let me know if you need help knowing where to grind crystals effectively.
The boosters work but I don't believe there's any cap on how many blades of a certain element you can get. I remember a while back people datamined the game to figure out exactly how drawing rare blades worked.
Nicholas Rivera
The clothes are chips that change their configuration. When you wake a Blade they don't have any chip, so they'll be at their default
Ryder Garcia
So we can all agree that Morag is best girl?
Easton Perez
> girl
Justin Hughes
I think X did them decently, they were mostly small side areas that felt like they were part of the overworld. They don't mesh as well in 2.
this. you can tell the game is shit if every single thread is just pure waifuposting and zero discussion about the gameplay or story. xenofags are the worst fanbase after smash
Cooper Walker
After your second NG+ you should be able to trade common core crystals for rare and rares for legendaries.
Christopher Carter
It's honestly not that hard to just spam driver combos on the big ardun or whatever
Am I the only one who thinks the expansion is better than the main game?
Brandon White
No, everything in Torna feels streamlined and refined.
Jayden King
Really makes you wish the main game just focused on the same battle system. Would have loved to be able to play as Pyra.
Jack Reyes
Imagine chillin this shit game when no one else on the planet even remember that it exists >Zero awards, not even nominations >Literally sold more than one million just because there is no other JRPG on Switch >Forgotten, except on Yea Forums
James Wright
The battle system in Torna is braindead though. Its orb combo system is shit, you spam combos and orbs without having to think about anything, while in XC2 it's satisfying to build it up to the top like a pyramid.
Tbf r/xenoblade has actual discussion, Yea Forums is just full of annoying waifufags.
Zachary Parker
>The battle system in Torna is braindead though. I wouldn't call it braindead but it's a lot easier to get combos off.
James Thomas
Well, my problem is it's too easy, if i may say so. I was a bit harsh though, because there are ideas introduced in Torna's system that I definitely want to see in a next Xenoblade, like its shared switching mechanic, that wuld work even in a regular jRPG not featuring Blades, but regular party members. i think a fusion of XC2's best features and Torna's best features would work pretty well.
Lincoln Perry
>How long will we have to wait for a JRPG of Xenoblade 2's caliber? no need to wait, shovelware gets released all the time.
Mason Robinson
(You)
Aiden Sanchez
Streamlined, sure. Refined, no. It's a great fit for Torna because it's a much shorter game, but it has reduced mechanical depth to compensate. It would need a lot of improvement to be called a true refinement of the main game's system.
Isaiah Powell
I've been saying this for so long. It's the first JRPG to give me those fuzzy feelings that Chrono Trigger gave me years ago. None of its flaws detract from all the charm its characters offered and all the fun its battle system gave me, in addition to the absolutely gorgeous environments like Uraya (ESPECIALLY Uraya).
>Imagine not wanting to impregnate Nia's cat pussy.
Ian Jones
>Last Rares on my first playthrough were Ursula, KOS-MOS and Newt in that order >First Rares on a new playthrough I started last week were Newt and Ursula within three Legendary Cores I guess I understand now what Takahashi meant when he said the gacha added replayability and variety to repeat playthroughs
Just do it like this: >Set number of core crystals >All received through side quests, exploring hard-to-reach areas, defeating certain unique monsters, etc. >Some of them are randomised, so the replayability the devs were going for is retained and you'll likely have a different set up on different playthroughs >Some of them are set, so the ones with specific subplots like Praxis and Theory can remain the same I'm sure they could have come up with some other way to work that in.
Connor Rodriguez
same then get her pregnant and take responsibility.
Zachary Robinson
The probabilities are not the problem, as the game makes core crystals rain. The problem is opening them one by one and getting rid of the duds that fill up your inventory. All Monolith had to do, is give the option to open up like 10 cores crystals at once (or more), like any other gacha in existence, and right after the opening you get an option to select the ones you want to keep in your inventory, and voila, all the problems regarding XC2's gacha are gone. I wouldn't mind the gacha returning in the next games with those conditions, it would be fun, even.
>decide to give it atry after /v being spammed by it for year and you ignored threads >its switch exclusive
fuck me and my retardation
Lincoln Morgan
>sameface
Kevin Reyes
please just fucking play xenoblade 1
Carson Flores
You could always give the first game a go instead
Dylan Baker
>The combat might feel a little dated since you've played 2 How? 2's combat sucks ass, I'd go back to 1 any day even though it's virtually the same retarded JRPG shit.
Jace Gutierrez
>XC1 has MUCH worse vombat system Explain. Surely you don't mean because you have to keep track of all that stupid arbitrary bullshit that makes no sense. Also it's great being able to reposition yourself without being punished for it in XC1.
Luke Lewis
XC1 is literally MMO combat though, XC2's isn't. XC1's battle system is serviceable and did OK for its time, but almost 10 years later, it didn't resist the test of time.
Jacob Anderson
What happened to the Blade Malos had at the beginning of the game? Did I miss the scene where it was dealt with?
>XC1 is literally MMO combat though, XC2's isn't Maybe WoW combat. It certainly isn't anything like Planetside. And even then what amazes me is that it's still better than this garbage.
Kevin Stewart
Sever died with Obrona at the end of chapter 3.
Jose Morales
All of the Torna blades get unceremoniously killed off, it's pretty disappointing.
Carson Bell
>Maybe WoW combat And it's boring as shit. Same for basically any MMORPG in existence. >It certainly isn't anything like Planetside Obviously I was implying MMORPG. Nobody would think of MMOFPS when talking about MMO combat in a RPG thread.
Kevin Robinson
P5R isn't really on the XB2 caliber since it's way above that
Jordan Gomez
I'm still waiting for the first two get ported already.
Mason Parker
I sure fucking hope so The lack of a Spring Direct makes me feel like they're really stocking up the announcements for E3, and apparently this E3 Direct is going to focus mostly on stuff coming out 2019 So the stuff we know about are >UA3 >Astral Chain >Animal Crossing >FE Three Houses >Pokemon S&S >Luigi's Mansion 3 But there's also the potential for some new announcements for far-off things, so a Monolith Soft announcement may be in the cards
>And it's boring as shit I'd prefer boring as shit over annoying as fuck. I feel like a fucking autist having to keep track of the stupid bullshit in the top right corner and bottom right corner, because that's all fights end up being about in this game.
Here we are in a beautiful world, and every time there's a fight you gotta look at stupid bars and buttons. Which was at least slightly better in the first game because being in certain positions relative to the enemy mattered a whole lot more, so you actually had to look at the world around you more.
Besides, it's not like the game isn't still WoW combat, what with the retarded way that enemies swing at nothing and STILL hit you. This doesn't happen in any of those Korean MMORPG's like Tera and whatever the fuck. What difference does it make that now there's more autistic bullshit to keep track of? It's still WoW combat dude. Go play something like Nier and tell me combat in this game isn't garbage. Even Nier combat was crap, but it was a hell of a lot better than this.
Hunter Watson
It was definitely a little disappointing that it never comes up again. Akhos and Patroka both seem really upset by their Blades' deaths, but afterwards its like they totally forget they existed. You'd think they would at least want revenge later on.
Brayden Lewis
XB1 is really good It's honestly the game that made me feel like JRPGs could do things that WRPGs couldn't. It made me realize that a tightly crafted cast with defined personalities and goals could be better than a game primarily defined by choice and character creation. Xenoblade has replaced FF as my go-to JRPG series.
Alexander Brown
>tfw I just realized the first couple of lines from this exchange are near identical to the first couple of lines between Pyra and Rex Whoever is translating these games deserves more credit, despite the fuck ups
Agreed The Rare Blades get a solid amount of love in-game too. All the post-battle conversations are entertaining as fuck Nim and Perun talking about how to be cool, or Percival chiding Zenobia for being bloodthirsty. It's the little shit that made this game endearing for me
Check out the first couple of things that Pyra says to Rex, and the first couple of things that Alvis says to Shulk. It's kind of generic dialogue but I want to believe it's identical in both situations for a reason
Nathan Ward
I hope they continue their success. Nintendo treats them well unlike everyone else they worked for.
Brody Miller
The scenes where Alvis and Pyra interrupt Shulk/Rex's introductions to say that they already know them are pretty similar, but that's about it. The rest is fairly different.
Christian Bailey
My roommate is playing this game right now. Should he give Corvin to Rex? He only has Nia and Tora.
Owen Jenkins
I'd wait and put him on Morag.
Grayson Scott
I don't think it's a good idea. Just give Rex a few Rare Blades, preferably the ones you get from the pity system (he'll get hist first Rare automatically after opening 20 common cores if he don't get one in those 20 pulls. Up to 3 Rares, but the number of common cores opening requirement increase between each of those 3 guaranteed pity Rares)
Well he's not very good at video games so I'm trying to give him a little help. I think having Nia be a better healer early game might keep him involved.
Knowing him he'll get KOSMOS immediately.
Ian Morales
>Knowming him he'll get KOS-MOS immediatly kek, beginner's luck theory would be proven right once again
Also you're already knowledgeable about the game so you might not need this, but here's the usual pasta anyway: -Rex automatically gets fantastic blades so you don't need to give him much Blades from the gacha (but give him 2 or 3 good Blades) -Use Pouch Items as much as possible, especially the ones that lets you recharge your Arts faster. Makes the flow of the battle better. -On skill trees, you will see an ability unlock "Cancel a driver art with another driver art". It's imperative that you unlock this ASAP because it boosts the flow of battle tremendously. -Also get the 3 skills that lets you start a battle with the Art already charged on the X, Y and B buttons -Understand the Attack Cancelling mechanic, as it makes the flow of the battle better by recharging Arts quickly -Swapping blades refills their arts palette. -You can combo into and out of swapping blades. -Most enemies will aggro you if you aren't 8 levels above them. And look at your environment before taking a step in the wild, or you could get your ass raped by a Gorilla 80 levels over you. But the game don't punish you for exploring, so don't be afraid to do it. -Don't use too much bonus XP at inns unless you really need to because it can completely trivialize the game. -Focus on the Driver Combo of Break > Topple > Launch > Smash when they will be introduced. The sooner you can understand this set up, the better. -You can raise trust between a Driver and their Blade by repeatedly using pouch items over and over again. It costs money, but later in the game money is a non-issue. -Raising trust with your Blade is needed to unlock the Blade's skill tree in most cases. -Don't waste protocol overdrives. Especially on common blades. The game only gives you a few. -DON'T kill the little Arduran in Torigoth until you feed it to Lv.99. He'll become the best Legendary Cores farming spot.
This Granblue game unironically looks like it had a lot of effort put into it's overworld. Not so bought on the combat though thus far, though. I'm probably going to grab it.
Matthew Scott
When is Zelda going to go back to the way it used to be? If BotW is an indicator for the future of the series, I'm not too happy. Ideally they could renovate the formula they used and add more life to the overworld instead of activating towers and doing mini dungeons, but eh.
Aiden Sanders
Is anyone else concerned with who they might choose as the head artist? I feel like it's narrowed between Saito, Choco, & Tanaka, but I get this feeling that it might be someone entirely new. I don't think we'll find out until they announce their next project either, so I'm a little hesitant. I'm hoping E3 shows us something.
>I feel like it's narrowed between Saito, Choco, & Tanaka I don't really think so. If it was just between those three, would they really have mentioned it on their hiring page? They've all worked with Monolith Soft very recently, so if they just wanted someone they'd worked with before there'd be no reason to put out a public 'hey, we're looking for someone whose art can become a staple of our games' statement in the first place.
I really hope Bayonetta 3 gets an E3 trailer. I'm being too hopeful though.
Justin Collins
I guess that's true. Even still though, the formerly mentioned artists could still be in the running for the spot of head artist.
Jayden Wright
That would be great, but I get the feeling when they announced it the ink on the contracts wasN#t even dry yet. So with a three year dev cycle it might take until the end of 2020 until it comes out
Robert Perez
How could Rex not know why Mythra was blushing if he knew what 'one eyed monster' meant?
Landon Watson
>Torna ending with that shot of Rex opening the door to where Pyra was.
Kino
Matthew Gonzalez
Bayonetta 3, Metroid 4, and SMT V shouldn't have even been announced as early as they were. I feel like they mostly did it to hype up the Switch's release.
Josiah Mitchell
He knows why she's blushing, he's just trying to change the topic and get Nia off his case.
Blake Garcia
I actually really disliked that. I can't explain it quite well, but I liked Rex as a protagonist because he was truthfully just a basic teenager. Torna's ending made it seem like he was fated to be the Aegis Driver or something, and it was meh.
Josiah Brooks
I couldn't agree more. The stuff with Rex in Torna was totally unnecessary.
Grayson Miller
I really hope it's not Choco. His faces are the worst.
Wyatt Jackson
So do I need to play the first game to play this MMO simulator or can I just go in? The redhead is cute and I want to impregnate her
Nicholas Hill
I never considered this and in retrospect now it kind of bothers me too. But it's not like it was a complete ass pull with that "those eyes" comment from Malos
Andrew Morgan
Probably done to combat the entire "no games" thing. It worked, but it does suck
This. I fuck with Choco's mecha designs, but damn his character designs need work. Although I like Praxis & Theory quite a bit. The Anti-Gnosis mechs were kind of cool.
I wish Xenogears has more presence in XC2. It was there but incredibly subtle.
Luke Price
You'll miss out on some extra context for some things, but you don't need to play 1 first.
Austin James
First and second game run side by side so I guess it doesn't matter which you play first. There's stuff you won't think is as cool. But I know two people that played this as their Xenoblade game and still liked. Honestly it's probably most people's first Xenoblade game. Lots of old "fans" swore it off as soon as they saw the artstyle.
Luke Murphy
I think those mechs look pretty stupid too honestly. They look too leggy like they'd be super easy to knock over.
Jaxon Nelson
I'm psure it wont be tanaka which is sad because I think his style is the most distinctive, takahashi probably recgonizes that while saito is popular his style is horrendously sameface. Choco has improved over the years too and I hope he retains some role.
Ryan Reed
There's an entire reasoning for why it happened. >Mythra loses control of her powers and overloads >Her ether ability goes into overdrive to the point where her "Monado" abilities allow her to see hundreds of years into the future It's still bullshit, but there's a good explanation for it. As a matter of fact, Ontos probably tweaks ether particles to see into the future the same way in XC1. XC2 was literally Xenogears lite, though. My only issue with it, is that Takahashi intentionally made the story lighthearted instead of going all out on darker developments. I still like the game, but the story's potential rubs me wrong.
Jace Bell
Well as a certain fancy frog says...
Eli Moore
>Well as a certain fancy frog says...
Hello my baby, hello my honey Hello my ragtime, summertime gal Send me a kiss by wire, by wire Baby, my heart's on fire, on fire

How do I unlock premium cylinders?
I appreciate the balance of THE WORLD AND PEOPLE ARE FUCKED UP and I FIGHT FOR MY FRIENDS.
Robert Hernandez
If you refuse me, honey, you lose me And you'll be left alone, oh baby Telephone, and tell me, tell me Tell me I'm your very own, oh
Isaiah Taylor
>How do I unlock premium cylinders? Long rest at an inn until they appear for purchase. That's literally it. They'll eventually disappear again, though. If you have the DLC there's a quest you can do that lets you craft them, too.
Logan Mitchell
I want mythra to pee in my mouth
Matthew Brooks
Go to Torigoth Sleep at the in check Cylinder shop for Premium Repeat until it succeeds
It's a very dumb mechanic and I'd rather if they were unlocked forever after a certain story point or something like it.
Austin Bailey
btw, Kätzchen is german for pussy (cat)
Landon James
why the fuck does monolith soft do these things instead of just having it available to buy like a normal item seriously, what the hell is the point?
Jason Collins
I thought the marketing system was pretty nice in XC2. Buying shop deeds and what not. My only issue was that they locked specific items behind said deeds, like items that boosted your movement speed. That was pretty retarded.
Jace Foster
No idea, I find it as dumb as field skills were in both XCX and XC2
Dominic Richardson
Honest question here : if i'm really into the game at the point where we team up with Vandham, is it too late for me?
Charles Sullivan
What?
Colton Bennett
Sorry forgot a word. If i'm not really into it. english is not my native language.
Sebastian Wood
If you're asking if Vandham is a permanent party member, he isn't so ignore him. If you're asking if you'll be locked out of Uraya or something, no.
Chase Hughes
Honestly, I'd say chapter 3 is the breaking point, after that you get access to all 3 blade slots and should have enough SP to purchase the "Cancel Arts into Arts" affinity, which makes battles flow much faster.

Can any Yea Forumsros help a brainlet out here? I'm trying to emulate pic related on retroarch, I've downloaded the game from nostalgialand.net/viewtopic.php?t=737#p737 It's separated into 3 parts and using 7zip i've extracted and can run part 1, but whenever i try to extract 2 and 3, 7zip gives a data error and i wind up getting the files with 0KB of data. Are the files screwed up or is there something specific i'm supposed to do?
Nolan Baker
Forgot pic cause am brainlet, please forgive my retardation because I don't emulate lots of games
>I'm trying to emulate pic related on retroarch I dunno how's the progress on the PS3 emulator user, sorry.
Christopher Thompson
XC2 was fucking bad, DQ XI P5 and SMT IV all shit on it and that’s this gen alone
Justin Barnes
Oh. Well, maybe? It depends on if you've been feeling that way the whole time you've been playing the game, I suppose. Personally, I was in a similar spot around that point (not having fun with the combat because of all the tanky enemies in Uraya, only mildly interested in the story) and it did get better, but it was a really rough ride. The combat only improves from the point you're at, but for the time being it really does suck. And while the latter half of chapter 3 got me kind of interested in the story again,.it's followed up by a chapter 4, which is full of unfunny filler bullshit and just sours everything.
Brandon Morris
As far as I know, as long as you got all parts in the same folder and extract the file from the first, things should run just fine, so no idea. The file might be corrupted.
Adam Gonzalez
Do people ever get tired of falseflagging and mentioning other JRPG's? If you have a victim complex that you're shitty JPRG didn't have a fresh world to explore, it's okay. We understand, friend.
Benjamin Morris
the amount of doujins is fucking staggering considering how little existed of X and 1, saitom truly is a miracle of the universe
Ryan Baker
how can I find you
Brody Harris
>Ontos probably tweaks ether particles to see into the future the same way in XC1.
If I remember correctly, at some point in XC1 visions are explained as being basically really fast and precise ether flow calculations. The fabric of reality itself is made of ether and the Monado handles ether better than anything else, so reading how and where all the ether is moving let's you predict the future. Mythra's foresight should work much the same way, she's just usually not as good as at it as Alvis.
Robert Diaz
crawling from the mouth all the way to the stomach to then end chapter 3 at the top of the massive stairway was kino
If I had to rank my personal favorite Titans in the game, I'd choose >Uraya >Tantal >Leftherian Archipelago I wasn't really a fan of Gormott, Mor Ardain, Temperantia, or Indol.
Robert Walker
Yeah, it's how Alvis explains it in Ose Tower. >Your visions are the flow of ether itself. Ether is the very source of our world's existence. >Where and how much ether there exists now, and in the future, can be predicted. >Therefore, in principle, the future of living beings such as us can also be predicted.
Dominic Jones
And even more are coming, but I wish the other blades get some too.
the leftherian islands were so fucking serene and beautiful, the cloud rift was super imposing and theme of fonsett gave me a feeling similar to kokiri forest from Oot but a lot more nostalgic
god I wonder what would happen if monolith was allowed to make a zelda game, they made the overworld of botw and it was stellar
Connor Sullivan
Mommy with benefits
Ian Wright
I wish Leftheria had been bigger, it felt tiny and the concept was neat.
Jose Adams
Let's recall things here What were the functions of each aspect of the trinity core? I think Pneuma was in charge of data processing but I could be remembering wrong.
Alexander Foster
Judging by the concept art, Leftheria and Tantal were supposed to be bigger, or at least have more to them. Leftheria was especially my favorite Titan though, and it felt like there could have been so much more to it.
Dominic Allen
As far as the actual lore is concern, they're all the same. Anything more is just guesswork.
Jayden Hernandez
Elysium in the Dream.
Alexander Thompson
Then why the fuck did they need three of them I thought they were separated into three because they could all provide different functions, but I guess they're like RAM sticks then.
Liam Hall
Why there is not way to save them? can't the Zohar bullshit something?
I wish there was a way to save them. They all deserved better. Especially Lora, Jin and Haze.
Lincoln Harris
What I mean is that it's entirely possible they had different functions, but all we can really do is guess based on the little information we do have, which doesn't really mention any differences between their roles. The game itself didn't say much at all (the most interesting part is when Klaus mentions a 'trinity processor sync rate' in the flashback, and even then that isn't explained) and the backstory that came with the Siren model isn't clear on how they actually operated, or what the actual point of having three AIs work as a collective instead of just one was.
Dylan Hernandez
>Is Perun a good blade? Perun is actually quite a shitty blade. Cool design, but she's heavily outclassed by a lot of Blades. I use every Blade though since all of them can be viable depending on your setup, so it doesn't matter. Do what you think is fun, user.
I mean it just makes sense they'd have different functions, given how each part of the core performs differently in gameplay to begin with.
Aaron Fisher
Considering how well preserved Lora's body is, could one of the Aegises have brought her back by using part of their core to stand in for her heart (a la Pyra reviving Rex)? Or is it just too late anyways?
Jayden Thompson
Then she's a fine first 5* on Rex so she won't be missed on anyone else
Justin Parker
>Swallows does this actually make guys feel better than spitting out?
Block Rate Up 6 aux core plus two elemental reflect aux cores, one for each element that's appropriate for the enemy you're fighting. You have to know the element of their attacks first, but you can basically no-sell dangerous attacks by switching to buster when they come.
After the vouchers were announced, a bunch of people in the Japanese Xenoblade community started recommending that people use them to get XB2. Pretty straightforward. Supposedly they managed to get ゼノブレイド2 trending on Twitter in Japan for a tiny bit after the announcement, though I'm not sure how true that is.
Adenine + Patroka = triple damage when you hit elemental weaknesses.
T-elos, Crossette, and Fiora can damage cap arts pretty easily.
Hudson Brooks
>Mythra sees into an alternate reality where she was awoken by blue elf pope >In this reality she was yandere for Rex >Violently yandere for Rex
Carson Foster
Shit, I forgot about that I assume Hunter's Chemistry to start at max affinity and shit like Affinity Max ATK and Outdoor Damage to rack up on it even further I'll try it out, haven't beaten Elma Redux on BoC myself yet
Still need to beat this game one day. Got to Tantal and just got bored as hell.
Zachary Butler
>draw an ass shot of a character >intentionally draw her with no ass
i'm glad i'm not a loser like this
Grayson Johnson
IMO Tantal was where the game finally stopped being interrupted by filler and became consistently interesting to me (though some of the plot developments are a little dumb). The bullshit at the start of that chapter burnt me out pretty hard, though, so I can understand why you stopped.
Jose Powell
Because in Japan the prices of the games is not a standard like in the west, where a new game is $60. Over there it will range from like 4500JPY to 8000JPY, and Xenoblade 2, like most long big games, is in this higher range. So if you want to maximize the value of the coupon, you're better off buying two games in that higher price range.
tl;dr the coupons are actually a better deal in japan where game's prices on some particular games is higher than in the west
Yeah I bought the game and got there in like a couple days, played it a shit ton. Then I got there and just didn't care to continue. Some of the mechanics and such just started to grate on me, and I wasn't really seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Dragon Quest V, FFIV, VI, IX, XB1, Chrono Trigger, and SMT Nocturne are all better than this game. What's up with the XB2 hyperbole these days, either with some picture of Pyra showing her ass, or something "choose one" image with Mythra and Pyra? Have they surpassed Odyssey and BotWfags?
Nicholas Bailey
XC1 is the better game. It feels much more complete and the story is more engaging tham 2. Only the combat is better in 2.
Yeah I don't really get the point of these daily threads, I think they're trying to trigger literally anyone who likes any other JRPG. Or just trying to start shit like when that one VN had a billion threads everyday leading to the creation of /vg/ which honestly is where these XB2 threads should have been forced to be like a year ago.
Jaxson Brooks
>buy coupon >have a 0.1% chance of spawning Pyra Would put all of my savings in it and buy hundreds of them.
Because you can get xenoblade 2 and some other pricey eshop game for less through those coupons.
Luke Lewis
I dropped XC1 around the 2/3 mark from boredom. I nearly dropped XC2 around the 10-15 hour mark, but stuck with it and it became one of my favourite games ever. I preferred everything in XC2, music, characters, levels, whatever
Josiah Howard
If you continued XB1 from where you were, you'd probably love it too. The story towards the end is one hell of a ride.
Henry Foster
>game hints Rex x Pyra throughout the whole game, even a little montage of both them is shown in the credits >barely any development with Rex and Mythra >only way to know if Mythra has feelings for Rex is Kora's sidequest Who would choose Mythra over Pyra
Adam Reed
hey guys I just woke up and wanted to say this game was great okay going back to sleep guys
Daniel Taylor
Is not my fault that almost everything is on twitter.
Ryder Edwards
nia folded cunnilingus vaginal_fingering torogao
Zachary Murphy
Odyssey is never talked about, BotW just results in arguing for 500 post, and Xenobalde 2 is mostly waifu posting. It really started with Nia MINGE threads, and now it's either:
"Buy her game" with some image of Mythra/Pyra or both "Choose one" Or using some hyperbole referring to the game.
I don't recall it being this bad.
Robert Hernandez
Odyssey has the issue that 64 is still the best 3D Mario to date.
Benjamin Hughes
well, there's always fanfiction
Jose Baker
They're the same girl you dolt.
Wyatt Taylor
>only way to know if Mythra has feelings for Rex is Kora's sidequest The game hints it several times during the story several times. But probably mostly because he reminds her of Adam.
By default, twitter shows a lower res and more compressed version, but if you add :orig at the end of the filename, you get the original file. Or just install one of the countless greasemonkey script or addon that does it for you automatically.
E) I ejaculate in her hotpants and make her wear them.
Julian Wilson
I'm glad they gave us superior swimsuits in the game
James Flores
I really love those swimsuits designs. They perfectly capture the original outfits, not just with the color, but all the little things and accessories. Really well thought.
They post everything on twitter for some terrible reason.
Ian Parker
He's playable in the DLC, you can just play as him. You don't need to play as girl at all.
Hudson Kelly
They can write two light novels in three tweets.
Brody Sanchez
Bruh your taste fucking sucks, have some standards dickhead.
Nicholas Green
Yeah, but DLC Jin doesn't have the same arts as Jin in the main game. I want to be able to use that stuff outside of the limited areas the game lets you use it in.
Are you fucking serious? Rex is your typical dense shota anime protag with a bunch of shitty boring two dimensional characters. God, even as an avid fan of JRPGs I see all of it's flaws in story telling and characters. It has a fun world to explore I suppose but jesus man, have some taste.
I still wonder how her calling Brighid Dromarch managed to make it into the final game. The mistake happening in the first place is utterly bizarre, and nobody noticing it is even weirder. Shows the kind of quality control they had, I guess.
Cameron Myers
>Game is almost 2 years old >Latest fanart discussion >Latest fanfic discussion >Latest doujin discussion >Shippingfaggotry >Headcanons
You guys know /vg/ was created for this exact reason? don't fucking pretend there's not enough interest in this game to get one going, you have daily threads that hit bump limit.
Ryder Russell
I don't. Choco's mechs just don't do it for me, they look like boring crystals or generic modern cars. They just don't vibe with me.
John Evans
Wait, when do you mean? Because I know she has a post-battle conversation where she actually does speak to Dromarch so maybe you're the one mistaken.
Jose Cruz
Because OP is part of the XC2 cabal.
Brody Harris
I am looking forward for his girls, not the mechas and cars. They can get someone else for that.
Brody Peterson
It was patched out about a month after the game came out, but when the game launched Morag would yell 'Dromarch!' when she switched to Brighid. I went through most of the game thinking I was hearing it wrong because of the VA's accent, but then the voice files were ripped and she really was just saying that.
>Rex >Dense He's one of the more savvy characters in the game. He knows what he wants and who he loves and what his values are. Did you even play the game?
Robert Johnson
Oh, yeah. His girls are pretty good.
Ayden Lopez
Whenever monolithsoft makes their new game. They're the only company still around making quality jrpgs.
Dominic Watson
You dont get it >Doesnt actively try to get into their pants = dense and stupid and generic! Doesnt matter if he knows, if he doesnt fuck them in ten seconds it means he is an idoit
Xavier Phillips
Hypergamous culture ruined so many people. There are things that matter more than sex.
Owen Thomas
I remember when we use this to shitpost, but now is irrelevant.
You don't have to wait at all, shitty JRPGs are released all the time
Chase Rivera
Good bait, almost got me. Then again, there are losers who actually think like this.
Thomas Reed
>How long will we have to wait for a JRPG of Xenoblade 2's caliber? Depends on your taste honestly, I personally think both Persona 5 and Ys 8 are just as good as xenoblade 2.
