I use an optimized version of the endergenic generator fueled by ender pearls generated by my enderman mob farm to generate huge amounts of power. I then use that power to build custom dimensions to explore.
If that doesn't sound like more fun than vanilla to you, you are beyond saving.

Not him but I have ADHD and after doing a vanilla playthrough and starting a modded playthrough vanilla is much more geared towards ADHD since there's almost instant rewards, whereas mods require a lot of work and technical bullshit.
Not taking sides, just thought it was interesting.

Play it like a normal person, if I ever feel like building something I fire up any engineering program that I find interesting at the time, last time I continued my study of antennae by using Vivaldi, good shit.
