I play Kemco RPGs as a guilty pleasure of sorts, though I wouldn't recommend them to Yea Forums-posters. They have a cozy appeal to them, and scratch a nostalgia itch if your have it, but I can't deny their many shortcomings.

Retroarch with a bluetooth controller and a kickstand for your phone. Any other answer is objectively wrong as on screen controls are ass and gets in the way of enjoying the game, and games made specifically for mobile are underdeveloped pieces of shit.

It's a rhythm game

Cytus is a Rhythm game with a Sci-fi anime aesthetic and an absurd model. If you want a detailed taste of its Gameplay, try Cytoid which is a direct clone of it.

Rayark games are very polished and high quality. Even their seemingly typical f2p RPG looks to be a cut above the rabble, much more games like Implosion and their rhythm games.

THAT games are legitimately good but lack of physical buttons is infuriating, the issue with mobile games is the touchscreen. And no brand make specify "gaming smartphones", Brands only care about battery, Gorillas Glass and screen size, nothing else.

Where's a official physical, bluetooth powered sticks/D-pad by Samsung, Apple or LG for mobile games? Why no mention that any phone costs +900 USD ?

I've been trying out Evertale recently, and it is surprisingly fun and has a nice battle system to it. Everybody does large chunks of damage right from the get go, and you can easily find yourself at a disadvantage, yet not so much that fights are unwinnable. Pretty neat stuff.

As well, it's one of the only hero collectors that have an actual, explorable overworld, and that's something I personally love. I play RPGs for adventure, and sitting in an arena and trading numbers while ogling cute girls doesn't replace going to weird fantasy lands.

My Pixel 3xl came with a usb-c to usb adapter so I just plug a USB controller (ps2 bootleg) and play emulated psx.
I can also plug a USB mouse + keyboard combo and do whatever the fuck I want, but didn't really game it a chance since joystick is much more comfortable.
I thought about downloading freefire or Fortnite for cellphone and wreck some casuals who play with touch screen but I think I'm gonna get matched with consoles and pc people and they gonna kick my ass.

I'm still on a Nexus 5. Is there any real reason to upgrade any time soon, are Google flagships still any good and is Android still easy to root?

How do you even look for games? It's like you need to already know what you're looking for.

I usually started by searching for genres, and specific well known games when looking. That helps a bit.
The recommended game section in every Play Store page is useful as well.
