the paint we use is waterbased. you can practically drink it. I wear the suit and helmet so I don't get covered in colorful dust. A proficient automotive painter can make 100k to 150k a year no sweat. and plus you get to work in a shop and swear and make lewd jokes with your friends all day. barely feels like a job user.

My one caveat to this is:

Don't be lazy doing things for yourself. Give it 110% when being self-motivated, especially if you go into a freelance career where you're your own boss. The problem is that super hard working people get their "hard worker" mechanisms used by corporations.
Ever notice how it's always 30+ women as assistant managers? That's because they're wired to be maternal figures (but usually don't have kids or the babysitter/state takes care of them) so their conscientious personality gets used in a job where they're underpaid and overworked (and over-responsible given how much reward they're given for doing their jobs). Assistant managers can be so conscientious that they'll limit the amounts of dips they can give you at mcdonalds even though they get no reward for rationing them and they would never get in trouble for giving them out. That's the power of being too conscientious for a company.

Depends on area. In burgerland it can be very difficult because everywhere that is "allowed" to certify you charges a billion dollars for 4 years of education where they teach you nothing. I life in Canada where it's a lot more lenient, and affordable, to become certified as a therapist. Psychotherapist/Psychiatrist/etc. it's all the same shit really. The certification is 90% the piece of paper that means the police can't come to your practice and shut you down for illegal therapy; but nobody will ever say that.

I'm And I forgot, one more thing that is very important, that I normally wouldn't tell people but I like your honesty user if you're interested in getting into anything like that, that requires certification, do it earlier rather than later. SERIOUSLY. Every day the guilds/companies/government puts more and more restrictions and bottlenecks on new practitioners, and if you're already certified in something you get grandfathered in.
