I really wish I had ever gotten good at RoR 1. I love the second one because it's easier, my fingers just weren't fucking nimble enough to get used to d-pad movement plus abilities all on the keyboard. Or I never figured out an easy button layout. Anyway, I know the second one has (hopefully) most of its content yet to be added, but I feel sad knowing that I'm simply too shit to experience real RoR 1 monsoon shit.

for ror2 is it better to rush the early levels or run around and get all the chests before going next?

I always explore thoroughly. Rushing usually ends up in my defeat.

Get the chests that are in your way to the teleporter and the nearby ones after you defeat the boss. Get the preon at level 3 (you have to be there at the 9 minute mark) and use it to nuke bosses. The more you stay on level 3 the more expensive the first legendary chest is, so just take that into account.

From level 4 onwards, up to you.
