It's basically the perfect GTA game
Why was this game never ported to PC?
just emulate it nerd
It emulates better than a PC port would have ever been anyway so there's really no point.
Because of piracy, you faggots.
Rockstar did a bad move with both this and Liberty City Stories, and kept it on PSP and PS2. No need for a lack of a PC port.
Hell, I would pay full money for enhanced versions for 3, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, and Vice City Stories on Switch (complete with cut content excluding Hot Coffee).
This is the better VC game.
Only reason why it got lower scores than the other games, was because GTA IV was just around the corner, and the gaming press compared this to that to no end.
>Because of piracy
Emulation isn't piracy retard.
>No need for a lack of a PC port.
No point in a PC port either, GTA games sell like shit on PC. PC accounts for less than 3% of GTA V's life time sales.
>Because of piracy
>switch
hmmmmmmm

May as make it be an entire compilation with every GTA game up to chinatown wars released on switch. Yes that includes GtA advance.
The PSP version or the PS2 version?
>No point in a PC port either, GTA games sell like shit on PC. PC accounts for less than 3% of GTA V's life time sales.
Show me sales figures.
Hell, by this point, more people would associate 3, Vice City, and San Andreas on PC than on PS2 or Xbox due to the modding scene.
Both emulate perfectly, but there's no reason to emulate the PSP version when the PS2 version is superior.
That really sucks, VCS was awesome as hell.
>Show me sales figures.
Do your own fucking homework next time you ignorant faggot.
Modding scene doesn't make Rockstar money you retarded third world shitter.
I believe there's a mod for either VC/SA that ports the full game with the missions along with LCS
>May as make it be an entire compilation with every GTA game up to chinatown wars released on switch. Yes that includes GtA advance.
GTA Advance contradicted 3's storyline pretty hard. It's forgettable, and even the reason why "Mike" isn't on this graffiti
which keymaping do you recommend for emulating?
its a pain in the ass play it with only a keyboard
It's a San Andreas total conversion mod (since the game is basically a slimmed down San Andreas that cut the fat and pasted on a modified Vice City map), and they got less than 20 missions done.
>Emulating
>Without a gamepad
Are you fucking retarded?
>pcsx2
>perfect
Are you nuts?
The only time one would ever emulate the PS2, are for the exclusives (like this one), otherwise just emulate the other consoles or get the PC version.
PS2 was underpowered as hell, and games look like shit on it (even though it had completely awesome games on it).
Look up the controls.
There. Your keymapping.
PPSSPP emulates the games perfect for me, how ever if i emulate the PS2 versions they fucking suck, no matter how much i configure it.
Underrated game. I hope it gets the HD treatment someday, even the inferior LCS got a mobile port.
I've been playing it on ps2, got the game for cheap so I thought why not.
It's a superior version of VC in a lot of ways, inferior in others.
Empire building is the most in depth it has ever been in the series, there's side missions for each business, you can upgrade your building, but there's also a lot of tedious busy work and it gets repetitive, and you also have to defend your buildings just like the neighborhoods in SA.
There's more interiors to explore, since there's side missions tied to them, but they have loading screens now unlike VC in which the interior buildings where just open, without a door you had to go through so it was seamless. But the old interiors are locked now for some reason so you can't explore the Malibu club again, among others
Oh and theres bicycles in it
The jetskis were based.
Well no wonder why the games have been focusing on consoles only since they went 3D, I think only GTA III and V have PC versions as polished as their console counterpart.
The others are polished, if you mod the living hell out of them using SilentPatch, widescreen, and SkyFX.
the stories games had a lot of physics bugs and vice city's sub missions were the least fun of the two games. it was great that they still used the classic engine, but they sent it out with a fizzle.
the reason it never got a PC is port is because they were developing GTA4 at the same time as these and everyone went to work on that, as well as its PC port, which would obviously make them a lot more money than a portable game port with average ratings.
