Even more weird is that all the synergy seems to stop right at Age of Ultron, as nothing that happens in the films beyond that are reflected in the MCU comics, such as no Mantis ever being in anything outside the MCU, or how Dr Strange, Black Panther or Captain Marvel get repped.

Yeah, I remember the frame rate excuse for no Human Torch. Plus to be fair Thing and Hulk would be pretty similar in an MVC game (not 100% of course, but big strong slower tank/heavy hitters). And I'm not really sure what Invisible Woman would do for a full moveset there besides barriers and invisible beams. Super Skrull is a legit great compromise to the F4 in a fighter, since he can use the best parts of each in neat ways.

Having said that by all means I'd love the F4 in UA3. And with the Fox merger complete we should start to see them more and more now presumably.

If they needed to edge so badly they should've just made some spin off what if story instead completely killing an interesting universe. I'm 26 so I grew up on Ultimate more so than the standard universe. Everytime I see Ultimatum I get pissed.

Ultimate had long ago stopped being what it set out to be. Ultimate was an attempt to have a new reader friendly comic line, because the mainline books had far too large a backlog to ever get through and it was overly daunting for newcomers.
Ultimate eventually became equally obtuse/dense, so its original purpose was no longer valid.

I blame the constant events garbage that Marvel has a boner for.

They struck gold, and for a while everyone flourished. Now you have staff devoid of ideas, trying to pan for gold months on end, only to churn out dirt.

Not him, but that issue doesn't justify killing superheroes at all. If they so did not want the Ultimate universe, the could've written a happy ending for everyone.

Antman and Wasp had some faults, like too many plotlines at the same time and the unnecesary second group of antagonsts taking away from Ghost and Goliath, whole movie should have had them as the lone antagonists.

Back on topic tho, og or fem Ghost would be a fun character in the game.
