How many of you play Roblox unironically?

last time I played it was like 7 years ago, why is it so popular these days?

because people can script their own games. currently they all suck, but the potential is there

Occasionally. Sometimes I find a good that is fun to play and I play it for one or a few weeks before getting bored.

they use to have quality

You are now remembering the really old Farm Tycoon where you had to actually grow crops and shit.

Eh there are still some good games there. Some tycoons too are actually about managing shit.

Something I've noticed, though, is that every year people there flip their shit because some popular developer turns out to be a pedo or some shit. It's literal fucking clockwork, and it's always the most popular/oldest devs too.

Tycoons are better now since greedfags moved to simulators

from time to time. a lot of people think it's shit because they only look at the "featured" games or whatever they call it. if you dig deep you can find some good stuff, Robot 64 is a great example if you like SM64

Any suggestions?

themepark tycoon is ok

I have been playing it unironicly for the past 11 years

anyone that plays this over the age of 12 is sick in the head

Unlike Club penguin my Roblox account wasn't arbitrarily deleted by Disney so i still pop in to see how it is going

I lost my account

Use to play it all the times around 8 years ago. Was fun for what it was at the time.

did anyone play the 2019 egg hunt?

Why the fuck would I not just play the actual rollercoaster tycoon?

I played it. It was pretty shit. It was another game aimed towards making the devforum niggers even more money

>use to play roblox all the time in middle school
>stopped once I learned about TF2 and steam
>check roblox again years later
>every go to game I played is dead
Something about seeing all of those games I use to play on a daily basis being completely abandon was saddening.

I got every single egg, was originally planning to skip a few of the more tedious ones but eh.
Hardest one was obviously the Balleggrina, that "game" is fucking awful.
Overall was a bust, probably the worst egg hunt in the history of the site and even worse than the first dev hunt because this one is shoved across so many more games. Genuinely horrible.

who still remembers deception infection

I can't log into my account I made in 2009

but user, gun

money

I make a living off my "Be a Parkour Ninja" game

You can make an income from Roblox?

I only picked a handful of eggs from the games I thought were least shit.

I was playing BSS when the update rolled out. That's when I realized the Egg Hunt was going to be a shitty server-hopping event yet again.

How is everyone here feeling about the rumors that mentioned this would be the last actual event? That everything in the future will be dev shit.

only if you have a ridiculously popular game like meeps or phantom forces
otherwise you'll only maybe get a couple hundred from a lucky burst of popularity before people move onto something else

Mostly just to exploit.

Dude, have you been living under a rock? Revenue from being a Roblox dev has been a thing since like, 2013 or so.

You can make some big bucks if your game gets popular and people invest robux into it. I'm pretty sure you still need OBC to keep the devex feature, but if your game(s) gains traction, it becomes a non-issue pretty quickly.

I earn more than working 50+ hours a week at the minimum wage job I was working
