What's the big circle on these vr controllers for? I see it on all of them but it looks like the you'd never touch it since its always so far from the handle.

Also should I get a rift-s? Seems neat

Used for tracking. There's a band of 32+ IR lights in each of them. They point upwards on inside-out tracking headsets so they're more clearly in view of the headset, not obscured by your hands.

I have PSVR and have tried the move controllers, it's the same shit. Only difference is the headset. The motion controls add nothing, not even a boost to immersion.

It's not just the controls, but the headset really solidifies the experience. The surround sound on top makes it something nothing else can replicate. VR as a whole can just be a gimmick, but it's a damn fun one anyway.

There is no way it will natively run any PC apps (no matter how well optimized or low-spec they may already be, they will need to be rebuilt by the developer for the quest specifically), no way in hell it will be able to handle a high enough bandwidth wireless stream, and it's very highly doubtful there will be any way to go over the USB. Facebook is on the record as designing it even more deliberately locked-down than the previous Oculus Go. It''s a console.
