After replaying most of Dark Cloud 2, I'm not sure I should keep it on this list, but I still do enjoy it.
3/4 I like everything about SotN except the gameplay itself. I guess I prefer the progression of Metroid rather than relying on random drops and leveling up. It's not a hard game, but I always find myself grinding.
12/12 I got Wonderful 101 as a free download years ago and I've still yet to play it, but I loved the demo and played it more than once. I didn't understand reviews saying controls were difficult to use.

I'm well aware, but I'm not buying an Xbox for two games (Black & NGII). I've read the changelist and besides the new content being weaker than the base game I can't imagine it will be a problem. Sigma 2 is an issue because I've heard about how its changes were much more drastic and mostly negative things. Razor's Edge is the better version of 3 so that won't be an issue.

It's the only open world game I've ever played where manually traveling from place to place never got old. Once you upgrade Mercer's jump, glide, and wall-run, his movement is incredibly dynamic and fun. It also does a lot of neat small things like the light stealth mechanics and the way the story progresses. If the combat itself was as smooth as the movement and more than one boss fight was any good it would be in the 3x3, but it's probably on the chopping block as-is next time I play something really great. Even then I enjoyed the combat options when they weren't jank, it's just that humans die in one hit and monsters aren't phased 80% of the time while Mercer has zero iframes ever. A true 8/10 gem that impressed me when I took it for a spin last year.

Correct. Never had an Xbox and my Thinkpad probably can't run the Steam version. Definitely looks like of the few gems on the XBone though, along with KI2013 and Cuphead.
