You are a massive hypocrite if you like FFX and hate XIII.

I like the game with the airship that lets you explore previously visited chapters.
I agree.
I love both.
I do feel sorry though for the people that fell to the "XIII is shit" meme.
"B-but in X the hallways had small branching dead end paths! A-also Lightning scares my little wenis!"
That is indeed one of the things that pisses me off the most about FF fans.
FFX has the best combat in the series, good characters, good story, good music
>can’t explore anything until Home
It’s almost like the game doesn’t open up fully until 20 hours in, though....
fuck al bhed
>best combat
>press Zanmato to win
>muh babby turn based pokeymans rpg
No, FFfaggot.
you are a massive faggot for posting this same shit every day
>use optional summons for babies
>wtf it's too easy
Gladly
Wrong, the game spends time building up its world, and the linear journey of a pilgrimage makes sense.
-Not best combat, but safe combat
-Decent characters, excluding based Auron
Story and music are actually pretty good
Final fantasy has always had dogshit casual gameplay, even for a genre as pleb and low-tier as a jrpg. FFXIII-2 otoh is the series at its best, gameplay-wise
>>press Zanmato to win
You can't just zanmato anytime you wish. And it takes a long time to build up another zanmato, it's really not worth the effort.
FFX is linear but it also opens up and has stuff for you to do when you revisit areas with the airship, as well as having secret areas and secret superbosses
>and the linear journey of a pilgrimage makes sense.
Lol, this is so stupid. So the complaints of linearity have zero to do with gameplay, but with fitting into a plot?
Well in FFXIII they were refugees on the run, that is why it is linear. Happy? Or is 'pilgrimage' the only excuse for linearity?
Also FFXIII (trilogy) has the best combat in any FF game, prove me wrong.
Pretty much the only games where you can't hold/press X to win.
No, the game doesn't let you retrace your steps for 20 hours. XIII doesn't let you do it at ALL.
>This pathetic Lightningincel is at ir again
FFXIII has a dogshit story and a very boring linear campaign. Stop trying to meme your shitpost on this board and fuck off back to /ffg/
good thing I like both
>What is Pulse?
Pulse had more content in the first few hours of getting there than all of Cocoon. This has and always will be a retarded statement.
Somebody just post the video already
no. your game is trash, lightning is trash, fucking hang yourself.
>You are a massive hypocrite if you like FFX and hate XIII.
NO.
X had good story that made sense, actual characters that made you feel stuff and the world really was imersive.
XIII had an awful story that didnt made sense, terrible characters and was just a boring rial.
I don’t hate either though I definitely prefer X. XIII-2 was a big improvement over the first one though.
Yeah, I love both, especially together.
You can hate FFXIII's characters, but to say the story is bad is just a cop-out when it's the usual FF tropes again.
>refugees on the run
>the religion/corporation is bad!
>some character drama
>you fight God at the end
All the usual FF tropes are given different names and the cutscenes do not explain to you what they are, you have to figure it out.
>"Their focus"
>an objective given to l'cie, not clear to the host on purpose, to separate weak from the strong
>l'cie
>slave to a God, given a "focus" and a time limit on completing it, if not completed, faces death and suffering
>fal'cie
A God, can have multiple fal'cie, which means you can have several l'cie working for different fal'cie, keeps the l'cie in line by making sure to give unclear focuses so nobody gets any ideas on revolting
Really, it heavily retreads X because XIII was going through development hell and Square needed to push it out.
