Zero punctuation despised it
>AAA
>console exclusive
>zombie shooter
no shit he hated it
They're freakers, not zombies.
>AAA
lmao good one
shut the fuck up
Is this game any good Yea Forums?
>a british expat soiboi residing in san francisco hates a game where a white woman wants her white husband to fuck her retarded
really makes you think
I certainly enjoyed it, but I will admit that it's probably not for everyone. For most people it probably comes down to
>Do you like open world games?
>Do you like having a signature vehicle that you can customise?
>Do you like Sons of Anarchy?
>Do you like The Walking Dead?
If two or more out of four I'd say go for it
Don't be upset because you're wrong.
Yeah I'm sure that specifically is the only thing he took issue with, and not with the game being a paint-by-numbers casual zombie slog.
I mean, it's an open world third person action adventure zombie game. Mechanically, it's basically what you expect. What did surprise me was much I enjoyed the story and characters and how much care was put into little details. The game has real heart. At its best, it's atmospheric, tense and immersive. It's just a shame the game is a bit of a technical mess, but a slew of patches has straightened it out somewhat. The framerate is still pretty poor in places, but much better than it was. Many people are still reporting progress halting bugs, though I finished the game without any issue bar the aforementioned FPS drops.
I would recommend waiting until the new difficulty mode/extra content drops in June, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend.
So why does this seemingly okay game get so much hate?
>implying ZeroPunctionation isn't normally a game of 'rate every single AAA title a 10 just because it's AAA'
Has yahtzee hit his head recently?
So glad I picked this up yesterday. I'm loving it, super comfy.
White male needs to survive zombies and slaver niggers to save his white wife
its ok. definitely one of the weakest of the ps4 exclusive lineup.
not worth the $60 though. just wait until its on sale.
Outsold MK11
Seething tranny
I enjoyed it more than Spider-Man and HZD 2bh. And more than most open world titles in general.
>implying yahtzee gives glowing reviews ever, much less to AAA games
Have you hit your head recently?
But there is no video on Days Gone made by zero punctuation
>its a ps4 exclusive
take a wild guess
Let's not pretend his opinion matters. All I care about are the complex builds to phallus references
Guys. Yahtzee didn't make a video on DG. This thread is bait
it's "comfy"
I honestly don't know why he even bothers reviewing them. Does any of his audience actually play these triple a snore fests? I certainly don't. It honestly feels like a waste of time for both him and his audience.
Validation, if he hates something you like it means you're able to enjoy it despite its flaws
Yes he did numbnuts did you even look
If you want the Sonic 06 of open world games then sure. Otherwise it's terrible, Dead Island does the theme much better.
I hope Yahtzee gets the Total Biscuit treatment.
I don't think the majority of his audience would even be interested in playing Day's Gone though, let alone like it.
It's fun if you like zombo third person survivaly games. The best part is the endgame where there's no more cutscenes and you just ride your bike around and exterminate zombie freaker hordes with a full arsenal.
An ironic death?
Not the best. But it's ok.
>still posting this terrible tierlist
>uncharted, the original movie game experience in top tier
>a fucking sportsball game in top tier
>spider-man and P5 in the same tier as the fucking order 1856 and KNACK
Who is even making this?
Also half of these aren't significant or exclusive.
I liked it a good bit. Wish it had been released on Xbox where it'd get its proper due since we're so fucking deprived for narrative-driven content.
Do you really expect anyone to believe this.
Those Xbox guys like their zombie games. Isn't State of Decay somewhat popular? Dead Rising 3? Days Gone could be a good fit for the Xbox crowd.
I'm not kidding. This would have been hailed as a masterpiece on Xbox. I think the biker themes resonate far more with this audience, too.
State of Decay is incredibly popular for how mediocre the games are. One of the reasons Microsoft purchased Undead Labs is probably because of its franchise potential.
