It's not even just the limited sound track. It's the quality. The music is just so....wonky. It's like someone went and smacked some horn keys on a synthesizer. I don't even think the orchestration of the Switch version will help it

It's both. Bad quality and very few songs. I dropped the game for a while thanks to the worldmap theme. Almost every town has the same track too.
