I own 3D just because I love the game and it was the only way to own a physical copy but its the worst way to play.
Mimiga village looks nice but overall the graphics are ugly and the framerate isn't good.

Jump over the pit Booster falls into (that's what the red marker on the ledge is for), get the tow rope that has magically spawned in the core room and use it on Curly after the fight, jump into the small cabin in the waterways and follow the instructions given by the bookshelf. After you find Curly in the plantations and have gone through the dialogue, go into the secret room in the graveyard and paste the mushroom fuck to get the special item that lets you get the Iron Bond, aka the endgame ticket. The rest is pretty straightforward iirc, enjoy the secret version of Last Cave that is major step up from anything in the regular playthrough and the final dungeon that actually requires you to git gud with the jetpack.

Last Cave was awesome but to this day I can't beat Hell. I've never even gotten to Ballos.

Despite the game urging you, you can actually take stage 3 of Hell really slowly and methodically, which makes things much easier as the enemy spawns actually stop after a while so you won't get constantly assailed from behind. Stage 2 with the random bullshit bricks is arguably the hardest part.
