I want Arieth and Jessie to not die. I would also like Part 1 to end after escaping Midgar or with the climatic boss fight against Jenova on the boat to Costa del Sol. Being on the ocean is a good sendoff when transitioning and waiting for the second part.
Yuffie can be written in to the Midgar plot, temporary party member who helps you around the building and bypass security, she eventually gets caught and leaves you guys for dead, hence temporary status. There could be some documents or NPCs talking about the incident in the mansion and alluding to the employees spooked out by a coffin (Vincent). I don't want the word retard removed from the game and I don't want Barret to be given new dialogue at all. It would be great if Arieth had her own unique sex scene on the eve of the final battle with Cloud like the famous Tifa off camera sex scene. But I typed all this up when the combat will be fucked completely by action RPG real time meme.

The first thing that comes to my mind based on this fear is that the soundtrack of the remake will not be 100% fantastic. If there's one thing that's flawless in the original it's the music. The music in the shitty movie was decent. I hope the remake will have the same tracks as the original and not over-interpreted like in the movie. One of the biggest flaws of the Resident Evil 2 remake was the music which was shit compared to the original.

They've desecrated everything else, why not make it interesting and go in a totally different direction? I just don't want the false Remake to, practically among the fans, replace the original like they did with III. In fact with a more moderate stance than above: Since the game has changed they should be obligated to change the story to serve the new gameplay functions.
I love the original and always resisted the Remake, so since it'll exist, at least give me a lot of new things, so it's worthwhile.
