I don't think it needs a remake but it does need an updated version that fixes some of the shit. Inventory management is a tedious juggle of hundreds of nearly identical pieces of equipment, special armors aren't special enough to be bothered with, explorable planets are exaggerated heighmaps with zero detail, there are not enough dungeon types or even multiple layouts, elevators only load for a few seconds but the rest of the ride is not skippable, and worst of all, vanguard has no charge ability. Also if you really put some effort into it, maybe the side missions could be remade so that they are as good as the ones in ME2.
