Unironically I tried to play this (pirate) but I couldn't get past the intro because the game was so boring I was sleepy. Closed the game after 30 minutes and went to bad. Slept 5 hours.

I like the gunplay! It's incredibly boring to fight people for five or ten minutes, and then drive around and watch animatronics talk for 30. The game likes to interrupt me all the time to tell me repetitive shit, too. It's hard to stomach.

Shame. This is definitely a game that takes a few hours to become fun when you get some of the other weapons and powers and start upgrading. But when you get there, the combat is a blast.

i'll pass. rather play a game that doesn't take hours to become fun

It's like open world nuDoom but Doom Guy has to drive his mom's minivan to every fight.

The gunplay is good, exactly like Doom and you can easily feel its influence there. The overall gameplay though is the dullest shit ever, it's just like Mad Max, drive to x location, wipe out the baddies, spend 5 minutes collecting everything so that it finally gets cleared, drive to next spot. I fucking hate this collectathon shit, it appeals to the lowest common denominator who only want pew pew pew collect collect collect, nothing else, no interesting quests, no writing, no decisions.

It's pretty fun. The driving and open world were better in Mad Max though, but the gunplay is great.

It's too bad, I was really looking forward to this.
Especially since the core gunplay is apparently really good but almost everything else sucks balls.

I got it yesterday. It's fun but it's not a good game overall.

There's not much to talk about. Yes the gunplay is fun, but the missions are pretty repetitive, the world is boring and there's basically NO customization option for the weapons and vehicles

From the look of it it's only marginally better than the first one, which was a pile of trash.
