No it didn't. Sonic '06 was a fucking mistake from the word go. Nostalgia is blinding you zoomers so badly, I swear. I see people defend fucking Heroes as some kind of misunderstood classic more and more lately. But more than that, you "Adventurekino" nostalgiafags are so fake. When this garbage was first coming out back in the day you were shitting on it just like everyone else was. And rightfully so. You're just like the retards that want Jason Griffith back to voice Sonic despite the fanbase universally hating him when he was around.

Nostalgia is a hell of a fucking drug, man. Modern Sonic is far from perfect, but it's still objectively better than the complete nonsense Sonic Team was shitting out in the mid 2000's. Forces was the first time we saw a glimpse of that era in so long, and people hated it. Gee I fucking wonder why? Hint: it's not the Avatar or the game's length. It's the tryhard story that everyone hated just like they did back in the day. I hate "DUDE BALDY MCNOSEHAIR" dialogue as much as the next guy, but it's the lesser of the two evils by a god damned mile. These fan remakes are interesting and all but you can't save a game that was fundamentally flawed from the beginning. A remade engine wouldn't fix the pants on head retarded story, or the phoned in voice acting, or any other of the myriad of issues the game had beyond lack of polish. Oh, but I suppose these "issues" are what you fags consider to be "soul", right?

I genuinely liked Adventure 1/2, and the reason I say 06 deserves a redo is because the devs were repeatedly fucked in the ass until they had to shit out a barely functioning product. Yeah, some aspects are straight up bad. Fix those, then move forward with the game this was supposed to be from the start with a smooth development cycle instead of being the literal E.T. of the 21st century.
