If I had to guess they were rushed. It would also explain how it's just missing so much in the way of Heat Actions and how few important characters are in a game meant to be Kiryu's sendoff game. Onomichi got off fine though.

A majority of them go by pretty quickly, but yeah, it's quite a drag.

Enemy positions and amounts are the same, damage taken is higher, enemies have more HP, enemies guard more, and enemies are more active (Meaning either you have one guy attacking as another guy is attacking, or he starts winding up for an attack immediately as another guy stops). The difficulty is also added onto your current difficulty from what I understand as well, so double Legend stuff is rough unless you cheese it (Which you really have to do in the last ones anyway).

I got the platinum trophy in kiwami 2
My strategy was to do 5 bouncer missions every chapter, you would finish them on chapter 15 if i remember correctly

If it's the zombies in K1 then I think it was either Rush or DoD that was the best to go into for that one. I honestly don't remember anything hard in K1 at all, nothing that took more than 5 tries at least.

This game was good. The contrast between Hiroshima and Kamurocho was perfect for preventing things from getting stale.

I gave up trying to beat the last Climax Battle in Kiwami.

I will never forget him ripping the steam pipes so he can whack you with them.

I told you that was a fucking chore. Some missions were fun, but they took it too far with that shit and the 3 "difficulty" levels

Climaxs are tricky. The only I had real trouble was Majima's one where he changed style often while losing hp. I had terrible luck with Majima going Slugger all the time, so I couldnt pick the fucking weapons on the floor to cheese or break dance

Finished kiwami 2 and I enjoyed it, why did they dump kaoru out of the later games? I actually kinda liked her.

If that was the case I think it'd be up on places like Play-Asia by now, right? P-A's only got the PAL copy listed rather than an Asian English copy. I think Y6 was announced more than a month early to be having a SEA English version. There's also no pre-order on the storefront (At least, the Singapore one).

If you can get it for like $20-30 it's an alright game, it's more for a Yakuza fan than a FotNS fan because a lot of the FotNS stuff is heavily abridged or they just take characters that were regular sidekicks out completely and rewrite the story completely as well. It's also not too great in the substory or side content department because a lot of it is just retreads with Bartender Ken and Manager Ken really being the only new things (Manager Ken is just a tweaked cabaret club with two girls at a table instead of one). Buggy Racing is semi-new since it feels a bit like the one in 5 but it's much more free rather than you bouncing everywhere and rubberbanding, but the buggy handles like complete ass even with endgame gear and it drifts like it's on ice when making slight corrections.
Gameplay is fun though there needed to be more Secret Techniques since you end up repeating them so much. Bosses are actually a proper challenge too, they're probably the most challenging bosses in the series if you do the duels in the Colosseum.

For the first time , I finally did EVERYTHING that you can do completion wise with Mahjong.
Even beat the extra 'be a replacement' match. I will go back and do the mahjong completion for 0 and Kiwami

I have to say, this was the easiest Jo Amon fight probably.
I died only the first time cause the damage when he is in heat is a bit ridiculous.

This is as good of a thread as any to post this. I know it's a mess, particularly structure-wise, and the jpg artifacts to get it to fit in the size limits are brutal, but hopefully it will make do for anyone trying to play BP2, it's certainly more organized than the other one I did. Translations are not 100% accurate (I'm still not convinced I picked the right names for several styles like Brawl since it can be Quarrel and I think the kanji for it are what they called Brawler in 0 and Kiwami) but they will work just fine.

I tried to include any decent tips I could think of since the Japanese wikis are a very mixed bag on tips at times, the story and substories can be done using the links provided you just won't really understand them, there's only like three missable things in the entire game and they're listed in the two red sections (Two of them don't even matter unless you want 100% and you have to do a second playthrough anyway), and the rest are just general game stuff and minigame tips. I also used a couple screenshots I took from 1 (Like the befriending one where I'm in Yellow Heat) because I really didn't want to open the game for yet another time and get a very specific screenshot when I had to do it like 15 times before, but it's only for two or three pictures at most.

I've had to rearrange the image like four times because of "File too big" errors now.
