Street racing isn't a popular trope anymore. Fast and the Furious has been reduced into Die Hard with cars instead of focusing on the racing
Also new cars look like shit
this
I would kill for a new MC game though, every year during E3 I hope R* unveils a new one but they never do
Still hoping for a new midnight club. Imagine MCLA but with soul of MC 2.
I feel like I'm the only one who hated Midnight Club LA. The way the cars handled felt so off compared to the previous games.
need for speed ate them all
burnout and midnight club were both better
ea ruined everything, again.
The closest i could get to scratching that midnightbclub itch on corrent gen is racing the tokyo stage in gran turismo sport at night.
The crew 2 would have done it better if ubisoft didnt ruin it with the boring social media whore thingy and always online.

Why would they release a new MC when GTAO fills the car lover niche and lets them dripfeed not-BMWs and not-Ferraris once a week for none of the licensing prices
The culture lost popularity in late 00' with newer cars focusing on fuel economy rather than power.
That too, can't exactly streetrace with a soccer mom minivan

Forza Horizon 4 has street racing in it.
but I recently did get an original Xbox to play games like Need For Speed, 187 Ride or Die. recommended me some good racing on the original Xbox.
>Also new cars look like shit
Pleb cars maybe, but supercars get more exciting every year.
not exactly streetracing material though
DON'TCHA YOU EVER TELL ANYBODY ABOUT THIS
depends on your idea of street racing. I always saw street racing as not only those typical races in the city around a few tight streets or alleyways, but also around the countryside and highways, like the classic arcade racers offered with exotic cars. Those types of racers were always my favorite, honestly pretty easy to get right unless it was made by EA. NFS was back on the right track again with the Hot Pursuit reboot. No idea how they managed to fuck up after that.
>super car fanboys
yikes
Damn, I spent so much time in free mode with my cousin shooting rockets at each other's and trying to do all the high jumps in Paris.
>Cars aren't made with pop-up headlights anymore
Fucking faggiest rule ever
