What controller will you be using with Super Mario Maker 2?

Joycons are a wash and the pro controller's d-pad isn't that great. Are we stuck with 3rd party memes? Any good ones you've used?

I opened and fixed my pro controller d-pad so that. It's fine now.

What's with this meme about about Joycon direction buttons being bad for games like this? There is no issues unless you need fighting game motions or something, otherwise this is way more precise with less travel distance.

I've only really had problems with them building up some debris under the analog stick, otherwise they've worked just fine.

I'm thinking about getting an 8bitdo. Heard they're alright. Also heard Hori is pretty good but I've never touched either.

Joycon, I haven't had trouble with any other 2d platformers so far.

I had problems with my sticks too, I mean that people act like the four buttons don't work perfectly fine for directional movements.

It's almost funny how we know about absolutely everything in this image now.

I want the stylus. Bongs are getting it in a limited edition, what abount burgerland?

no

Handheld: HORI dpad Left controller and normal right joycon
Docked: Dualshock 4 but wish I had 8bitdo SN30

I have a great third party and it's called a wio u pro.
It works and shiet.

d-buttons are superior to every d-pad for a 2d platformer. braindead parrots only know how to regurgitate the hivemind and can't provide a single valid reason against their use

I-I think the pro controller has a good dpad desu. I hate mushy dpads, but i also don't like clicky dpads.

It's a lot easier to press up and down quickly while pressing right or left on a rocker Dpad, also the switches buttons are so fucking heavy to press. It's well over 100g's and that's too heavy for fucking pop'n music buttons.

You have a guide on how you did that?

Not him but

8bitdo SF30. It's pretty gud.

i havnt used this exact one but 8bitdo makes some nice stuff for sure

I have the SFC30 and it feels laggier than my PS4 controller desu

Worst input lag of any controller I've ever used, even with firmware updates. $50 dollars down the toilet.

mine used to have a delay, updated it and it's no longer lagging

i had 4 pro controllers in all of them the dpad worked well
people need to stop being shitters and get good

I can't comment on it vs. a PS4 controller, but I don't notice any input lag. No more than the Joycons themselves, anyway. When's the last time you updated the firmware?

ill be using my iphone!
thats right you heard it here first...
dont tell anyone...

The original Hori controller was garbage, it annoyed me too as their Xbone/PC controller was top notch. Don't know if they made better ones as I resigned myself to using the regular pro controller for analog games and my Pokkan controller for digital (don't even have Pokkan either).

How insightful
