DESU I understand why EU may look complex for someone who hasn’t played it, but it’s actually more simple than it looks. Ultimately the game revolves around quite a small number of core mechanisms, and while there are tons of numbers and thingies you can look at, there’s surprisingly little that you need or even get to manage manually. The actual decision-making process while playing it isn’t that nuanced, mostly you just need to know when you’re ready to fight and who you want to fight, while occassionally doing some minor trade or religion stuff.
