Poetics are the only tomestone that doesn't go away. When a expansion is finished all their gear is converted to poetics. So you can buy level 50, 60, and soon 70 stuff with them. You also need a shit load for a step of the HW relic weapon.

Both to differentiate itself from other tanking play styles as well as to fit it's aesthetic of wearing looser armor akin to it's leather duster, GNB is a shield-based tank, where it's mitigation comes from negating damage, as opposed to cutting off a set percent of it. On top of it's normal cooldowns, you can use ammo to modify your combo finishers. If you don't use ammo, a percentage of damage dealt from the finisher is used to create a shield; if you use ammo it's a dps increase. It doesn't have stances (which is the new standard in ShB) but the ammo system acts as a pseudo-stance in this regard.

The aesthetics grow on you and there's plenty of high fantasy, that said wow is a mixture of cartoony and nintendo 64 aesthetics so you won't really get that here. Game itself is a great mmo but there's a lot more focus on story than WoW even if it's better written by miles. Raids and similar content is really fun and out "pvp arena" is shit. Probably, but the Steam version isn't compatable with the generic pc one so if you start on Steam you have to keep buying it there. The Steam version doesn't go on sale nearly as often as the pc version. Right now you can get the first expansion for free on both ps4 and pc, but for whatever reason it isn't valid on steam.

Like at the end of Heavensward Bards and Ninjas were already doing more fucking damage than BLM in non-turret fights, so what does SE do in response? They kill the old Foe Requiem and give both Monk and the new SB mage a physical only raid buff to encourage stacking physical dps even more??? Granted BLM and RDM and casters in general are in a way better place than they were earlier in SB but it's still fucking dumb how there's just NEGATIVE synergy when you bring a mage instead of 2 phys ranged or 3 melee comp, and since they did nothing to change anything in 4.0 why would 5.0 be any fucking different I guess. Basically the only question of composition is is it going to be is it better to bring BRD + SMN, BRD+ MCH, or BRD+ DNC for the 3rd and 4th dps slot, since SE devs have such a fucking hardon for DRG and its synergy with BRD that no other 2 jobs in the game come remotely close to. So SE is basically giving SAM the MNK treatment and giving them a token raid buff, and therefore reinforcing the status-quo EVEN MORE. After like 3 fucking years its finally reasonable in some comps/parties to take a MNK in place of a NIN, so give them 2 more fucking years and then SAM will be *slightly* acceptable like MNK is now, and casters will still have no fucking synergy with anyone. BLM doesn't have to have party buffs or utilities just to have some fucking synergy with SOMETHING. RDM doesn't need BLM/SAM level dps but it does need some fucking reason to take it over SMN and there's NONE.

Tempering isn't ever a slow indoctrination from any tempering we've seen. It is immediate and seemingly permanent, and those tempered always do exactly what their god wants them to. Asians claim to have Echo. Warriors of Dark had Echo, but they even joined the Ascians for a short stint.
