Well put. Mythological classifications are a guide at best. Wyvern autists need to stfu. Besides, the batlike design of Skyrim's dragons lends itself well to the idea that dragons love mountains. A bat-like dragon is more fit to grip on the side of a mountain or hang in a mountain cave than a four-legged dragon.

That's because the male dragon has 4 legs but no wings, a sort of agile tyrannosaur, and the female dragon has 2 legs and 2 wings, like the wyvern configuration.
