Hello, Yea Forums users. TemporaryExit here, with an idea that has been stirring in my mind for a while now. I've been in a bit of a creative slump in regards to my personal endeavors, so why not tap the immense cluster of fuck that is this board's userbase. You guys will be providing details like genre, setting, mechanics, character names and archetypes, and I will expand upon them the best that I can. All ideas created here can be used by any of you lovely people. Let's see if we can make something special.

Fuck off and kill yourself namefaggot.
Fuck you.
A game where OP gets publically banned
Public execution it is
>sidescroller taking place almost entirely within Yea Forums threads using posts as platforms and shit
>final level is minimizing the web browser window to battle the scrapped ideas in the design document
The game is entirely based in talent trees. No other UI exists. Even the start game screen is a talent tree.
I've said this for years now, just make a Yea Forums MMBN style game but instead of hubs it's the boards, instead of net navis it's anonymous avatars respective to their boards, bosses are tripfags, moderators, off-site raiders, etc.
Instead of chips that deal attacks it's stock posts/copy pasta rebuttals, ad hominems, GETs, bait, roll derailers, etc to turn the opponent's thread against them or toward your favor "winning" the discussion. HP is "lost" when all lurker responses towards the player or enemy siphon over to one or the other, indicating focus or support completely shifting to their favor.
The simple plot was just going to be about how the boards and site change respective to what sort of posts and posters drew the most focus and how the player contributed to it. For example the early days of KoG and co and how they lead to that time when Doubles seriously got out of hand but no one could help themselves. There would be no moral, every end would just be looking upon the post habits you've wrought.
Could work
Is this how we get a Yea Forumsirgin quest sequel that won't die during development? To have it as a book?
Got nothing to add onto this one, pretty fucking interesting idea. I'd play it
Oh and program advances would be caused by dubs and triples
Add some hot chicks to it
Six words.
Fat Albert with a Grappling Hook
>certain boards would have dubs and trips disabled
The ultimate character
Make an NPC who has a 99% chance to give you advice and motivate you after you get a game over and a 1% chance to shit on you for being trash.
Nice
Something suddenly popped up so y'all can take the healm for a while. Here's a copy of the design doc free to edit. I am a genius
