Yes, I am a desperate whore for open world western rpgs like Skyrim. Yes, I absolutely want to experience those first few hours where you can go anywhere, steal items from any house, but with updated graphics and in a new region of Tamriel.
I loved Skyrim for that reason, and Oblivion, and Morrowind.

Yes, those games had a lot of flaws. For instance, Skyrim tried too hard to push satanic rituals. Idk what rich oligarch paid them to put that in their game but, what I can tell you is that I hated it.
All the rituals involving blood, all the time where the game makes you choose between a powerful item and doing something terrible, and no item and doing a good deed. That shit made me quite the game, several times. Dozens, perhaps.

But anyways, I still managed to have a lot of fun in these games, by letting my hatred caused by their flaws live in a part of my brain, while my love for their qualities lived in another. And trying to focus only on my love for them.
Kind of like getting a blowjob while your hand is getting burned by a blowtorch.

Ó Riain was apparently a bit of a character, he was imprisoned after refusing to pay his television license fee because he thought the Irish government were neglecting the Irish language, his bail was set at £25, someone paid it anonymously but he continued to refuse to pay his license fee, and ended up hauling his tv halfway across the country and left it in the offices of the Department of Communications.

Also, Eamon's name is actually Dáithí, Donal is Puisín, and Billy is Maidhc.

All these mechanics will be packaged together in a mediocre game that'll get 9/10s on all the review sites and win game of the year.
