I watched that "this is how you don't play majora's mask" video a while back. Holy fuck how can one man be so fucking dense?

He chose one of the world's most popular titles and gave his personal opinion on why he doesn't like, why he can't play it and why he's bad at video games in general. What he forgot to do was tell everyone that before implying that everything he said was fact. OoT is about 6th or 7th on my list, but a solid 90% of everything he complained about was to do with his personal issues with timing, blocking, not using items the game gives you and not reading information given to you in the game too. Unfortunately everyone and their mother has been trying to shit on this game for a lifetime, so of course people would jump on this and side with him along with his rabid fanbase

Would you really trust the opinion of a guy who almost played an entire game but couldn't read what was on the screen so made the game much harder for himself than it should have been?

Except that's wrong. OoT isn't a very good 3D game and the prior Zeldas were good 2D games.

to be honest he makes a lot of good points. ocarina is obviously still a great game, but it's not perfect, and the reasons he gives are valid reasons that stop it being perfect.

I love how he starts the LP saying "CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF I DO LIKE THIS GAME AND I HAVE BEATEN IT SEVERAL TIMES", then by the end it's just skullfuckingly clear that he definitely doesn't like it, he definitely hasn't beaten it, and he definitely sucks at all 3D Zeldas with no exception.

I recently saw the “how not to play OoT”. How the fuck can he sit there and say “yeah I’ve finished this like 5 times bro” when he doesn’t know or remember shit about it? You’d think at some point it’d all start coming back to him right? Every single stage he came across was met with “ah shit I don’t remember where that is or what to do” just like someone playing it for the very first time

That's a load of shit user. I've never even beaten OoT but I still remember watching my older brother play it as a kid, and a lot of songs/levels still stand out to me if I watch gameplay of it as an adult. The first 25% of the game is all I ever did as a kid and I could go complete that without looking up a guide or pausing to think.
