I’d thought up a game idea where it’s like a terraria/bullet hell/rougelike experience, where it’s a randomly generated 2d world where you collect parts for different weapons, bring them back to your home/base and customise your own gun with different barrels, attachments etc to modify the way it works and its stats
haven’t thought much more past thay stage and I’d have no idea how a fully-customiseable weapon system down to the very build of the gun itself would operate but I’d kill to have that game realised

Universe starts, you and some other chucklefucks all cosmically appear and decide the universe is yours. Create the worlds, armies, heroes etc using your divine favour, worship is basically your exp+currency. Little unit shit plays out as a rts battle, heroes/gods dueling is more like an action game.

A semi-open world multiplayer RTT that plays like Ground Control.
There are 2+ playable factions. Solo players roam around with throwaway/mobile units in a huge map looking for players from other factions to ambush or small NPC bases to loot while big groups can afford to deploy heavier units to tackle raid-esque NPC or enemy PC fortresses.
Loot needs to be taken off-map to be secured, any captured locations need to be actively defended to not fall to increasingly strong NPC attacks. A player taking his loot to safety can be ambushed and have his loot stolen. Said loot is how a player gets better units, the quality of which depends on the place it originally was looted from. Unit loss is permanent, but the most basic units are essentially expendable.
