That kind of glove is an iconic cartoon element. In cartoons, hands are often drawn with 4 fingers in order to make them easier to animate (e.g. Mickey Mouse, The Simpsons).

glover 2 looked significantly better in many regards. I don't know exactly how much of the game was completed and how much piko would have to cobble together, but I would love to see the end result after all these years. well apparently a dev said the game was about 80-85% complete when it was canned, and we have those leaked beta builds, but I don't know how old the builds are. if piko owns the full rights, I would assume they'd get the internal 80-85% completion code and be able to work from there, but who knows

presumably. if all the old material was included when the bought the rights, then they should have everything that was left sitting around when it was canceled. but it's also been almost 20 years since development was stopped, so who knows how well preserved everything was. we constantly hear stories about old source code and materials being lost or destroyed, so it's hard to guess how much survived the years and made its way into piko's hands. plus there's always the possibility that they got the rights to the ip and whatnot, but weren't given all the old source code to work with. though now that I"m saying that, I think that's probably unlikely, considering they said they planned to port glover to pc, so they have to have the original code to work with and port. unless they plan on just throwing an n64 rom and emulator bundle on steam ?
