Not him, but from what I can gather, the game is locked to 30 FPS for no good reason and Rami (Vlambeer consists of 2 people, Rami and the guy that actually makes the games) is obnoxious cunt that tries to become the "face of indie games" with all the talks he's doing at virtually every major event. Listening to his speech at 2018 IGF & GDCA was awful.

For some reason I find Throne absolutely fascinating. It's just oozing atmoshpere with those characters, locations, music and lore. Like, there's nothing really there but it feels so real and intriguing. Gameplay being super tight and fun also helps immensely.

I can never get into Gungeon. The gameplay is so slow, I feel like you can loop twice in Throne in the time it takes to finish one level in Gungeon.

clear a small area to have some space while fighting him. make sure to attack mostly when he's calling troops or about to die. I'd recommend some high DPS weapon against him like assault slugger, auto crossbow ect.

In terms of health, though, Crystal does have the most base health apart from Big Dog, with Melting the least.

Crystal is good because he's one of the few characters that doesn't have to rely on melee weapons (unless you get Throne Butt) and her ultra mutation makes her almost immortal. Overall though the best characters to progress throughout the loop must be Chicken, Horror and Steroids. Y.V. is an absolute beast in terms of killing bosses though

Crystal's pretty beginner friendly, but not in a bad way. She has high health and defensive abilities, so she can make good runs. Characters with offensive passives (Steroids, YV) or with weird but strong actives (Melting, even Eyes) are stronger at actually killing things.
