All of those events were up during the Blossom Fest, but today is the last day of the fest. After that the Event quests will be on like monthly rotation. The basic versions of the collab quests are permanent additions to the game though, and can be played as many times whenever.

The series has been shackled by the underpowered handheld hardware for too long that it's started to grow stagnant by the time MHGen was released. Introducing turbo epic battle shonen styles and turning many monsters into Frontier rejects are not the answers. GUsperms who have never followed the series from the beginning won't understand why veterans enjoy but don't consider MHGen/GU as a legitimate MH game. Take Valphalk, for example. A decent fight, but too Digimon-ish to be considered as a canon elder dragon. I don't want Frontier trashes like it to appear in future MH games.

Except the MH team actually put the most fucking effort into MHW, compared to just rehashing the series like they did before that. I would like to see Capcom cramming a map as dense as AF into Switch when that shit tablet struggles to run kusoge like XC2 and Pokemon SwoShi (as evidenced by the FPS drop during reveal trailer). My PC can run MHW at max settings at more than 60fps. Don't blame the dev when your shitty tablet is too weak to run the game.

Why wouldn't DLC be paid? They develop it, which takes time, money and resources, so they can sell the created product for profit. That's perfectly fine.
The Microtransactions have this far just been emotes, stickers and cosmetics for an NPC character. The only exception to this is the Deluxe Edition DLC which added a couple of customization items for the player character. I don't feel my game is any less complete without those items.
I will say I'm not pleased that the pre-order armor won't be available for purchase later for those who decide to wait. Kind of a dick move on their part.

Yeah, console release is September while PC is "winter." I'm personally fine with it; thus far they've been really good with stable updates after they got everything patched up on PC and I'll take that over a simultaneous release any day.
