Short Spears can be thrown. You can carry three, but each is costly.
Javelins are allegedly a weapon to be added later, probably in bundles of 2 or 3, so you'll probably have an ideal setup of Short Spear - Javelins - Javelins in your loadout.

I feel like the devs completely missed what the problem with stab actually is. It's not that it comes out too fast, but rather that you can stab again so soon after stabbing. So the problem is recovery, not start-up.

It makes the game look much better and if you turn the team markers on, you will have no trouble distinguishing teammates from enemies.

I would use the training sword if it was even halfway usable. Three damage on an attack means that you would have to hit someone 33 times to kill them. While it's possible for me to do so (in a 1v1 setting, no way in hell can I focus on someone for that long in a setting where multiple people can attack me simultaneously), it's not very fun and is wasting the time of both me and my opponent.

I find that the fact that the swings are so slow is often the very reason why people fuck up trying to parry the maul. They are so conditioned to parrying much faster weapons that such a slow swing throws them completely off and they just eat it.

Don't listen to the other two retards, they sound like they're negative k/d shitters. The key to parrying is to wait until the very last moment, when the enemy's weapon reaches you, then block. You CAN block hits by parrying earlier than that but as a result your window will be smaller than it would've been if you timed it right and can lead you to getting hit by other attacks, be it from another attacker or a delayed drag.

When are they adding females to the game? They already confirmed they would and models are in game already to use if you know how though in matches in reverts back to males.

Allow for polearm/spear bracing that causes the mount to halt like it hit a wall while taking some hefty damage like Mount and Blade. Right now, the lack of actual counter outside of balistas makes horses really unfun to play against. You wait for them to make a mistake, then punish. A good horserider won't make a mistake (and you can't force them into one), so you literally can't do shit against them unless you got overwhelming numbers (and a good horserider isn't going to charge a thick mob of people). This would fix a lot of horseshit while not totally nerfing them or making them unfun to play. Also, make them a little louder so you don't get continually horse ninja'd.

Hopefully not for a while. They've got more important shit to sort out first like adding new maps before the playerbase drops too much.

They're just making sure they can get the faces and voices as cute as fuck before releasing them.

Chambering and parrying aren't nearly as debilitating as making an enemy whiff, leaving them completely open and unable to act until they recover.

More/less armor doesn't actually affect it in general, at least not in regards to top speed / maximum dodge distance. More armor will just mean slower acceleration towards a specific direction if you don't give it a moment to reach full sideways/backwards walking speed. As in you can get a full backdash distance while naked after holding back for just 0.1 seconds, and full 3/3/3 would need 0.15 seconds before you go back all the way.

Dodge is fucking useless. Backwards dodging doesn't put enough distance between you for even a fucking M1aultard to whiff since they'll do that 20 meter lunge after they miss and still hit you. Side dodging stabs doesn't do shit since they can just drag 180 degrees anyway and still hit you.

Mordhau has a problem but it's not to do with actual gameplay.

I like Mordhau. Chambering is great. The game is sleek, it's streamlined (in a good way!), it's less clunky and crude... it's a modern Chivalry, its successor in all but name. The biggest actual complain I have is that there's no equivalent for z4 anymore, though deflecting arrows is pretty fun. Nothing beats being naked and armed only with a lute, rushing at an archers whilst deflecting every arrow before you collapse his skull in.

Everyone sucks at this game excepting former Chivalry players. I haven't assraped people like this in vidya ever since I smurfed

i have been using the battleaxe for about 70% of my time played (got 86 hours so far) and i really like it. i have not used the waraxe at all, but from fighting against the waraxe, i can tell you that battleaxe in shortgrip is much faster. it's actually the reasno im using it. solid 2 shot kill at full heath, if you hit their head. you can combo much better with it, and can really surprise people with the riposte speed. if you liked the waraxe, i dont see why you would not like the battleaxe.

and forgot to answer your question. battleaxe has slightly less damage, but it's much more versatile as you can alterante grip on it. the long grip being slower and having more range, and the short grip being faster. long grip is great to get around shields, but desu, i use short grip 90% of the time, as the speed is too good to pass up.

learn to feint maybe? the only thing maul can do is morph the stab. if you whiff the parry on their morph and are fast enough you can turn and sprint for a milisecond to put yourself out of their attack range. you can start your swing then drag back and hit them. maul is dangerous but only in chaotic fights where they can come from behind and 1shot everyone.

Theres nothing quite as satisfying as stabbing/slashing maulkniggers and zweikniggers to death with a dagger.
So much work, but worth it for the panic that ensues when they get down to the last hit.

i dont know much about the charts, but from my own experience it completley demolishes bads. i basically just faint 24/7 with it. 90% of the players die in two feints, its very easy to get kills with it, especially since all larping faggots wear no helmets or cloth hoods.

I keep a regular axe on backup for some of the faster, trickier opponents, but I've only needed it a couple times.

im not very good at dragging but every now and then i managed to get literally stuck in groups of 4-5 enemies. whenever i manage to get a riposte that is not blocked and get a good round swing, i literally see heads rolling. i managed to do this a few times, and it's amazing. people get so intimidated, most of them just fuck off and run away.

War axe got that hold adjustment. Would be nice if you could hold adjust and throw.

Shields are perfectly balanced now. It's easy to get around them or deal with them, and people using them (myself included, since I am a hand axeman forever) are obligated to rightly bring the shield down and not just turtle 24/7 with it. The choice of making kick boost against perma-blocking rather than across the board was a great strategy.

I like the sallet with gorgon or whatever the neck/jawpiece is called. I also like the late 16th century helmets I forget the name of. 'ate great helms.

I like that this is essentially the tank of the game, but fuck, the gap between me and the person under me was something stupid like 60 to 30. Noone was using based billhook.
