Man, the Rock Band guitar controllers were ass. That 360 Guitar Hero 2 controller was my rock.

When We Were Young by The Killers
Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand

They were both easy and felt cool to play

Detroit Rock City, all day every day

Guitar Hero 3 on PS3 with the bullshit guitar pick dongle you had to plug in because the PS3 was stupid like that.

>Cliffs of Dover
>Welcome to the jungle
>Devil went down to georgia

Such good shit.

Clouds Over California, still my favorite song to play ever since I first bought it years ago. Have the chart memorized, can FC it in my sleep.

MY NAME IS JONAS

It was actually a great controller it just took some getting used to.
Guitar Hero 2 and Rock Band 2 were the GOATS. I had so much fucking DLC for RB2. Wish I still had access to it.

Good Mourning/Black Friday, Over the Top, and Chiron were a lot of fun in Rockband. For the record, I think that All That Remains sucks but Chiron is just a really fun guitar chart.

>tfw my rich friend had all the instruments including the keyboard

If you played the plastic drums and this wasn't your favourite, you need to kys

Where are all your rock band instruments now, Yea Forums?

Mine are Sin Wagon, Caprici Di Diablo and Fight Fight Fire With Fire

Harmonix trying to ask for $2 million dollars to fund Rock Band on PC was soul crushing
DJ Hero is outstanding too

I got a bust ass rb1 guitar controller I only play clone hero with

>we actually learned to play real instruments
That was fucking cool to be honest

In the trash
;_;When I finished school I needed every dime to get started so I sold just about everything I didn't need to survive

worth it in the longrun

I bet if I ever got behind a real drum set I could do Kool Thing by Sonic Youth

I have about 10 broken guitars in my closet

GH world tour wireless controller did the trick for me. I remember I got it with the game from Toys R Us for like $20 on clearance. Still kicking today

IIRC that was like 3 times harder than any other song on drums in Rock Band 3.

Posting one of the most underrated songs in Rhythm Gaming history.

GHWT was my preferred controller
nice to see the same

Nah, there were alot of tougher songs than it. The toughest thing about it is probably the length. Need some stamina to play the whole thing because there aren't any breaks

Only played caprici enough to GS it and never played it again, I don’t understand how anybody could think playing that song is “””””fun”””””

Still here, still working.
I don't let more than a month go by without a Rock Band session.

That shit was fun
What charts did you like then?

You play clone hero too?

When I moved out of my mom's house 6 years ago I didn't feel like taking my perfectly working drum set with me (because I'd be living in a 2nd floor apartment and noise was a concern) so I left it there and let her throw it when she sold the house a year later. I regret not taking it with me so much. T_T I still have my guitars, keyboard, and mics, but drums were always my favorite and I haven't been able to play them in ages, and probably never will again

What are some of your favourite RB dlcs?

Fuck, thats tasty

youtube.com/watch?v=WV-FtxA2IR0
play this?

I personally prefer strum intensive songs with solos. I made the clouds over California post above. That, Black magic, heir apparent are prob my top 3. I like caprici and I listen to it all the time, just can’t imagine playing it more than once or twice in a play session.

are you you the master of alternate strum?

Anybody playing the plastic guitar in the year 2019 is.

Shackler's Revenge, Master Exploder, Peace Sells, Rob the Pres-O-Dent, Colony of Birchmen, Pinball Wizard

Rock Band 2 > GH3

I still have my GH2 controller, need to bust that shit out someday

Only plastic guitar that actually worked perfectly for me was X360 Guitar Hero 2 wired controller. The whammy bar's spring loosened or something but I fixed that with a rubberband and star power tilt sensor was bad, but I "fixed" that by taping a pencil, which pressed would activate star power, to my guitar.

Even with those it was the best guitar for me, because the buttons actually registered everything correctly. Every other plastic guitar after that had problems with buttons not registering stuff or dropping notes at critical parts, so I rather used my badly beaten GH2 guitar, because at least you could play properly with that.

>Tom Sawyer
>Harder than "Llama" by Phish or even "Beast and the Harlot" or "Caught in the Mosh"
Wat

Leave it on press
Depress, depress
Llama taboot taboot

Tom Sawyer ain't nothing compared to shit like this.
