Infinity War was the idiot plot to end all idiot plots. Every bad thing that happens is the result of a character making what is blatantly the wrong decision for no reason other than so that the plot can continue.
Quill is impulsive, but he's not get-half-the-universe-killed-to-get-a-petty-slap-on-Thanos-tier retarded. But he needed to do that or the plot wouldn't have happened.

Endgame is better just by virtue of not leaving the stupid shit in weird time travel rules that can be handwaved away.

KH was always bad but now it's more apparent because it's target audience grew up and kids wont be able to follow the plot without going back and playing literally every entry in the series

Again, yes his character is that he's kind of an idiot and makes emotional decisions, but he LITERALLY gets half of the universe killed while his friends shout "Peter fucking stop holy shit you're going to kill us all" because he wanted to bitchslap a god. It just makes him contemptible.

As a standalone film Endgame doesn't work at all, so in that regard I like Infinity War more.
But I'd be lying to myself if I didn't admit that endgame was a hell of an experience.
Seeing shit like that onscreen is something I would've dreamed of as a kid.

Admittedly I really enjoyed the post-snap stupor everybody was in and seeing how everybody had changed.

because time travel is the most lazy creatively dead plot device imaginable. It literally breaks the universe. Something way cooler could have been done with the quantum realm.

Imagine my disappointment when the answer to Thanos snapping away half of existence and destroying the stones so that it remains permanent was "Dude, let's time travel."

At the point, I was just trying to enjoy the gimmick of traveling back to the New York attack for an infinity stone heist, but then they had to shoehorn past Thanos to try to capture a true runback with him. But that Thanos isn't even the same one from the previous film, so I don't see how I'm supposed to feel the emotional tension during the final fight compared to Infinity War.

Also, good job giving the role of Captain America to the dude who isn't a super soldier. It'll look really cool paired with his robot wings.

I don't think Endgame was better than IW but I enjoyed it and was entertained because of how good IW was. My only major complaint is Cap Marvel who had so little screen time but somehow stole two important scenes that should have gone to other characters. Rocket should have saved Tony and Nebula due to going into space looking for his friends. Hulk should have took on Thanos. Banner should have went unconscious under the building enraging Hulk who comes out screaming HULK SAVE BANNER AND FRIENDS. Who then proceeds to beat the ever living shit out of Thanos, with only one main arm, tank that headbutt, and only get knocked out when Thanos uses the power stone.

Seriously fuck that cunt of an actress, character, and anyone involved with giving her scenes better suited for more well loved characters.

Endgames fatal flaw was the fact that Thanos was the best part of Infinity War and past Thanos was a completely different character
They nullified all character development that made it so good
