My sides!

Games have shit performance with hardware 5x stronger than consoles, buying more expensive hardware does nothing for me. I don't care anymore, I'm content playing older titles. And in 5 years, when I upgrade? I'll play titles I missed out on. I've been doing it for 20 years.

Nice. How much? I am in the market again looking for a new mobo and cpu.

It's an expensive CPU, wait till intel answers to Ryzen 3000

I didn't know retardation hurt like that

Seething

Alrighty

Shit I began with the wrong bench, this is the actual one, the first one was HT on and off, my apologies.

Dang

what is this?

This
it's just not worth upgrading

Security flaws built into the Intel CPU

Rocking a 2500K overclocked to 4.5 and no game still fucking touches it if you want 60 FPS. CPU in games has been a meme for almost a decade

So, is Ryzen 3000 going to be good, or is it yet another case of "amd's big come back"?

>Hyper Threading ON
Yikes

>9900k housefire edition
OH NO NO NO NO NO NO

is that high?

It's probably going to be fantastic.
Ryzen 1000 was an excellent comeback for AMD, 2000 was medicore but expected and 3000 is supposed to improve Ghz and IPC significantly.
And for Ryzen 1000 owners that's a great upgrade without needing to buy a new motherboard.

getting 84 degrees with one of the best air coolers and 100 degrees when overclocked is high, yes.

Even the shitty 8th gen with toothpaste inbetween the IHS and chip only gets about 70-80 C overclocked to the same frequency on the same coolers.
