Lost Izalith is the worst area in the ga-
me.
you can skip 80% of this area with a few strategic drops. Next
If you have to skip most of the area for it to be tolerable, doesn't that just go to show how bad of an area it is?
>Dude it's okay if you look up a strategy to cheese it the first time around
you can speedrun DS2, but it's still a shit game
There's nothing wrong with this. It's a neat hidden area.
You don't need to look it up. You look down and fall.
It's an optional super secret area, it's fine that the level design here and in Ash Lake is odd.
doesn't change the fact that's not as horrible as lost izalith because lost izalith FORCES you to go through it every single time with every little shortcuts outside longterm investment in a convent which ALSO REQUIRES A GUIDE FOR FIRST TIME PLAYERS
you can't deny lost izalith is the worst
They could also have just not designed it in a way that you get stuck on invisible walls going back up
But that place is super easy though?
I agree, it's original but pretty terrible. The only place I skip the items.
>land on branch that seems traversable
>instantly slide off and die
Great area
What are you talking about?
Great Hollow is chill.
This guy.
Obsessed
A lot of casuals got filtered I see, maybe play an easier game?
Here, have a (You) for the effort on the bait
LI > Douk's
praising ds2 for being like an arcade game. fucken retards go play castlevania if they want that shit
Nobody's talking about DS2
this but unironically
1. You're retarded, nobody is talking about DS2.
2. Fromsoft games ARE like classic Castlevanias.
Based
Great hollow is goat. One of my favorite areas.
I remember accidentally stumbling into this area on my first playthrough and going all the way to the stone dragon. I didn't have the Lordvessel yet so I had to walk all the way back and climb up the tree to make it back to blight town. That experience almost filtered me. (Did the same with the catacombs in NG+ and wondered "Why don't people go here first? you get the Rite of Kindling early!" before realizing that I didn't have the Lord Vessel and that I'd have to climb all the way back up through skeleton wheel hell.)
Wtf is wrong with you?
This guy, he gets it. If you have the audacity to make a single complaint about anything in this game, its because you let it get in your head and beat you. These men were beaten
It could also simply be bad level design
>walk below a branch that is traversable
>camera does a 360 and you fall off and die
Good job a team
>that giant console ui
my sides
you should have seen blighttown in silky smooth 15 fps
Fuck you I liked Duke's Archive, it felt like a bit of an after thought but it was a cool environment to explore
>DS2 hater is too stupid to recognize which game are we talking about
The big problem with The Great Hollow and Ash Lake is that they're fucking pointless.
They look really cool though and are way less tedious than Lost Izalith.
Imagine having such horrendous taste.
>Pointless
They're for the dragon covenant.
>two whole areas to get to one shitty covenant
So, pointless.
Well you do get a special weapon from cutting off the dragon's tail. But yeah, still not worth it.
No, clearly one bad collision zone makes the entire area the worst in the game.
DS2 haters are really sad and pathetic.
rent free
Duke's archives is the only good area post lord's vessel
Not including DLC of course
