It's complicated, they end up together but Ultimanias keep throwing fuel into the fire by being dodgy, saying Cloud still thinks of Aerith; unless the Remake goes balls to the all by having Cloud saying word by word "I love you" to Tifa beyond the "there's different ways to express love" scene then this damn shpping debate will never end.
