Does anyone else find it hilarious that it's usually the villains or anti-heroes who actually reproduce in Capcom's games? Wesker the narcissist? He legitimately had sex with a woman and has a son. Chris, Leon, etc.? They got pussy around them yes, but they always fail to reproduce. Now we have Vergil, the guy who hates humanity ironically is the one who successfully reproduced while Dante who protects humanity....gets nothing (not only that but in DMC3 Dante despite being a young man in his prime outright says "I must have rotten luck with women").

What is Capcom trying to say here? That if you're a good man you don't deserve to reproduce? Be an asshole and not only that, but be a deadbeat and you'll get pussy. The recipe to get sex in life is be a decent looking deadbeat asshole to fuck women in their prime.

The worst part about Vergil is the ironic fate he had until DMC5 ruined everything. He chased power and kept thinking he was all that and then he encountered Mundus who completely humiliated him and literally owned him all the way until his death. Fitting fate for an honestly unlikable character.

Now he's back and healthy and so many events that needed Vergil to be dead (the entirely of DMC4), ruined. So Vergil literally abandoned his kid because of his power boner obsession combined with his childish obsession with beating Dante and even after he loses again to Dante in DMC5 he still at it. Can't this unlikable jackass just stay dead? DMC5 ended with Vergil learning nothing and still picking fights with Dante.

I will never understand how this nuisance of a character is popular. I hate him as much as I hate Vegeta in Dragonball.

Of course. What they're doing with him now is just obnoxious. First they keep having Shadow repeatedly say all the time how he's the ultimate life form which gets annoying. Then in Sonic Forces he's arrogant about being so strong talking down to Infinite when Shadow has never been that arrogant about his power, not like that.

It's sad that Shadow's best depictions are the recent Sonic Team Racing one shorts and the Boom one where the writers in the CARTOON knew how to make Shadow come off as an intentionally edgy stereotype who ironically Eggman beats by taking a photo of him and flash of the light blinding him leading to comedy.
