It infuriated me to realize how much of a racket is going on with cars. I got into a fender bender recently. My car's front fender was fucked and the hood's hook bent. I could easily have gotten it repaired for maybe 1-2k. My car's worth was estimated at 6k, and the insurance company decided it was a total so I could get either 5k and keep my car or 6k and give it to them to sell for scrap.

But if I kept my car I would have to jump through all these ridiculous hoops where I HAD to go to a state (Delaware) sponsored/owned car repair shop and work with the police because otherwise my car would be considered a stolen vehicle or some ridiculous horseshit about stolen parts. It was a racket designed to make me have to take it to a state-sponsored shop that would charge me out the ass to repair it. So I had to take the 6k and give away a car I had since 2007 with just 57k miles with pretty much just cosmetic damage which I am sure I could have gotten repaired for maybe 2k at most.

I first heard about Yea Forums back in 2012/13 in 8th grade, rumors about anonymous and all that junk. Yea Forums scared me off though and I thought it was illegal to be here and cyberpolice would get me because it said "you must be 18 to enter".

9/11 has always been sorta skimmed over when I was going to school, except in history class when it was actually the day September 11th, which I would say is when it's actually fitting. Never got any of the fun dramatic shit a lot of other people replied with, though. It was usually a decent movie or two that we watched through the week at most.

What do zoomers look for in video games, like what desirable qualities do you find in allegedly good video games? Alternatively, what are some bad qualities you don't like?

the best qualities i look for are if they game is just fun. fun and replayability.
and i know this is a 4channel meme that keeps running around and its gotten a bad wrap, but another good quality that i look for is soul. although its very subjective its something i value alot

i grew up with alot of old ass games from my two older sisters' hand me down consoles. i had a n64 with about 19 games and a gameboy with a couple dozen random cartridges.
all those games were so full of soul and love, and the new games that would come out would just be unmemorable shooters and ""rpgs"" that can be beaten in less than 4 hours

I like a lot of games that are just focused, air-tight experiences with either good replayablity or a great overall balance of quality in its elements (great story needs great gameplay to back it up; constantly change things up or at the very least tweak the normal gameplay loop at some point to keep things interesting, etc.) Also more single player stuff please.

Got my first pc when I was 8, stole the family pc lol. I was on it 10 hours a day literally. Been on youtube since the star rating. I'm in a similar boat( here) I was always around computers as far as I remember(my memory only goes back until I was around 4). Some of my earliest memories were playing NES and old MS--DOS shareware games. I still got to experience the original Youtube, I still got to experience flash games and the pre-fucked internet, all that stuff, but the times changed faster than I could comprehend. Hell, I still used our family Windows XP shitbox well up until 2014. I think I found out about Yea Forums somewhere in early 2011-2012 from my sister showing me funny flash videos on /f/ and it sort of turned into a downward spiral to the point I've been obsessed with this site ever since.
