Post what modules you are playing right now.
Other cRPGs welcome, I guess.
Only to keep us bumped up, mind. Don't overdo it.

Won't she attack you anyway?
Also I reinstalled OS and now can't change refresh rate in the game(it's still 60hz no matter what I do), is there a workaround?
I masturbated to most of the female portraits, fyi.
Sick fuck
On my Windows 10 it also has the problem of unlocked fps, so it just runs at like 300 frames for second on the menu, making my video card get red hot and all fans working overtime.
Would forcing v-sync not fix this?
In game, yes. In the menu, no.
>LISTEN TO ME HERE, I MUST SPEAK WITH YOU
>LISTEN TO ME HERE, I MUST SPEAK WITH YOU
Is it just me or is NWN comfy as fuck?
It is.
I'm looking for some sort of module that I played a long, long time ago
It might have actually been two different ones but here's what I remember
You start in a village I think and there are a variety of quests. You see a boy stealing bread or a necklace (either bread for food or the necklace to sell for food)
You have the option of turning him in, offering to work off the debt and a few other options.
Then later I believe there was a large battle outside the village, in a large area like a field but it was a group battle, like in HotU, where you had a bunch of NPCs you couldn't control on your side.
Speaking of HotU and SoU, what's a good class to go with since wizard/sorc is OP as fuck.
Also did they ever fix the PRC mod to add in actual spells instead of relying on like 12 fucking clicks to cast one level 7 spell

Isn't that the tutorial in Neverwinter Nights 2?
I remember this blue-balling bitch.
I've been playing through the vanilla campaign in 2 as a barb/berserker because I never played Mask of the Betrayer.
I tried playing on persistent servers but couldn't understand what the hell I should do
No, it's different - IIRC the area with the bread was on the bottom right, the boy's house was in the upper left - NWN2 has you with companions, we had none in this module
Bump
>join persistent server
>check available commands
>/erectpenis: makes your penis erect
>log out
dead game
That's the right way to play it user. MotB is pretty good but you'd be missing context without playing the OG campaign first
Anyone here play Storm of Zehir? Is that worth getting into?
Have y'all been looking into Legends of Aria formerly Shards Online? Pretty much the same concept but it's based around Ultima Online as a foundation instead of D&D. Just as moddable though.
NWN2 is an abomination.
Why?
Looks better, runs better, has party member control, has better expansions.
The only issue is the new dialogue system is harder to work with because of camera angles, and the new visuals require actual talent to mod stuff in, so all the community quit.
MotB is more Baldur's Gate, Storm of Zehir is more Icewind Dale.
I never played icewind dale, what do you mean?
Less plot and narrative driven, more about moving your warband around killing shit and doing quests.
Kingmaker feels slick, shame it has no modules so it's pretty much dead already
Best cRPG in the last decade, I think. But yes, its a Unity game, and has no modding kit, so it can't be a new NWN.
Legends of Aria is the new NWN
Its not even out yet, you pro bono shill.
I never said it was but I've been modding it for well over two years and I used to mod NWN too. It's a proper successor, except instead of being a cRPG with optional multiplayer as a foundation it's a full on MMO with self hosted servers.
I'm playing SoZ for the first time. I only ever played the OC. So much better it fucking hurts
The camera was so cancerous it's killed my playthroughs 3 times. Yes, even the "legacy" camera.
How are you modding for it if its not out yet?
How did it kill your playthrough? It was mostly just annoying, I can't imagine a situation where it requires you to start the game anew. You are lying.
>want to have sum fucc in crpg
>get backstabbed
Every single time.
It's not "out" as in you can buy it on Steam but backers have had access to the modding kit for well over 24 months now
The private beta is quite populated
I've always wanted to play some NWN multiplayer but i don't know where to start.
What's the best server for an rp noob like me?
What was her problem? I forgot already.
Bored lonely housewife who started murdering for fun.
Put a ring on it.
>sexy time with your squeeze
>they lose their gear if you're lucky
>their character gets knocked down to the ground with the same sound effect as if they had been dealt a massive hit
>fade to black
You really had to have a great imagination back in the 200s
>wouldn't it be weird if I chopped men up with a cleaver, haha
WHAT GAME
SHOW THEM YOUR STEEL, ATTACK
slav fallout
I didn't mean your character's name. What is the name of the game itself?
Best voice the rest are meme tier
When will we get a new crpg that is as moddable as nwn?
NOTHIN' WALKS AWAY
CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNTS
>join a persistent NWN server
>the custom map is nice, but the settings are fucked
>mobs are jacked all to hell and nothing gives experience
>you have to be gifted xp by a gm for "good roleplay"
>only all the gms are off fucking around with their friends so 99% of the player base are level 1's stuck in town because they can't step outside without being murdered by orcs and shit
>also it turns out the gm's friends are all level 40 and run all the major factions
>they all have godmode gear, too, like the one lady that tried to seduce me into doing her bidding that had a ring with +80 charisma
The turnover rate for new players was about two days. There were a few other players that I joined up with and we tried to help out/include every new player we ran into, but it never seemed to help.
The only time I ever had an interaction with a gm and got some xp was when I was robbing houses downtown and he just silently spawned a guard on top of me. I ran away but he just kept popping in on top of me. Eventually I got tired of it, ran into some bushes, and emoted pretending to be a tree. I guess he thought that was funny.
So basically you have to entertain the gm's in hopes of getting any xp. Sounds fuckign awful lol.
What server was that? (to avoid)
That's a horrible experience.
Was stuff like cloaks and other clothing items added in the NWN expansions? I dont remember any during the base game.
Pretty sure the base game had cloaks. And clothes? You mean the armor slots?
I think mods have them as optional model pieces, which you can change through a dialog box
Still the best RPG ever conceived. Still miffed NWN vault went under and took hundreds of excellent modules with them.
Cloak models showing on your character came with HotU if I remember right.
