Thats quite opposite. You get the wrong idea. Im sure af most asian women dont feel offended by anime girls. White women have strange hatred towards Asian women as anime girls or asian representations produced by asians themselves in general.
Asians dont age like whites. They see "younger looking" anime characters as universal asian representations even when they are adults. A generic white guy is the default because they can grow and have possibilities and are able to be sympathetic without resorting to the colour of their skin or if they want to stick their dick inside another man. They are a blank slate that writers could build upon without getting held back. Those you mentioned on the other hand needs to highlight their shitty trait because that's all they have going for them.

because a lot of gay characters in video games are handled terribly, and it sometimes shows that the developer doesn't know their demographic.
the characters are given special treatment and its often a case of "oh wow this character is gay", and it doesn't give the player any reason to care about why the character is gay. like a basic rule of writing is "don't write a gun hanging on the wall if you're not going to use it"
its not only annoying for your playerbase that wants more tiddy action, its pandering to a point which is arguably insulting.

Because the characters you just mentioned are held back by their own distinctions, they can't be anything else without upsetting the precious little flowers, the most recent example is the mass effect trans character being "deadnamed" oh trannies were pissed. A writer is walking this fine thread and it's not worth it because you can't please everyone, and these people are a very tiny minority of people that don't even buy games, but they like complaining about them. it's not gamers in general. it's gamers of the kind that you find on Yea Forums. the ostracised kind that is bitter and hateful and desperately needs to find someone they can feel superior to. then when they get shown that they are indeed absolute bottom of the barrel trash in the eyes of the rest of the world they obviously get angry because their coping mechanism gets attacked.
