>Crouching isn't a toggle

name ONE game that does this
holding to bring up the weapon wheel doesn't count

That mechanic sneeds to die.

OP here. I meant "hold to swap the current weapon for a weapon on the ground". Modern Far Crys do this and probably some others as well.

>hold a button and wait for a circle to fill up before anything happens
AAAAAAHHHHHHHH JUST FUCKING DO THE ACTION RIGHT AWAY AAAAHHHHHHH

>Toggle RMB to aim
>Not hold RMB

Why would you want to hold to aim? I can understand hold to crouch.

Any important task bound by default to middle mouse button

>toggle aim
What the fuck is wrong with you?

Fast paced military fps games where you die in one to two hits you want to snap out of aiming and into it as fast as humanly possible whilst moving. It makes a difference.

Why would you strain your little finger/hand trying to hold? Are you a hipster? Just because Call of Duty does something right doesn't mean you have to hate it.

pretty sure holding to aim is standard
if you use toggle you are mentally impaired

Ok, that's a good answer. I still prefer toggle though.

>door clearly open enough for you to go through
>have to wait for the entire animation to finish before you can pass

Literally a millisecond of difference.
