It has (probably) the best music in the classic series, good robot masters, the debut of Rush, Protoman and the slide, the weapons are not so great, but most of them work. The real problem with MM3 begins with the Doc Robot stages, it is not hard if you know their weakness, but I swear is almost impossible to beat them buster-only, also it would've been nice if you came back to the eight robot master stages instead of just 4 of them. After that, the Willy Stages are a complete joke, the game is also know for having a lot of slowdown. Is a great game but it just feels unfinished.

I played it and I like the robot master stages, but I just can't keep going when I get to the Wily Castle. The Yellow Devil and the Final stage is just too much. The fact that you had to play all the game without passwords in the original NES cartridge is crazy.

All of them, but normally you should start with Mega Man 2. MM 4, 5 or 6 are easy to start. MM 10, 9 and 3 are better, but also harder. MM 7 & 8 are not bad, and not hard, but many don't like those games because they're different. Mega Man X is also a good place to start. After that there's still a lot of good Megaman games.
