Is this fun?
Is this fun?
Yes, it’s really good. People on Yea Forums meme it pretty hard with the “el goblino” thing but it’s actually really fucking good
la creatura....
You will see 90% of the flora and fauna in the starting area of the game. Unless you are thalassophobic it is not that spooky, and there is no real danger in the game. Most biomes have 2-3 species. It blows its load pretty early and just becomes resource grind almost immediately.
I don’t think this is true, each biome has different fauna and completely different lifeforms that live thefe
It's only okay due to the fact that there are still game breaking bugs in the game and the AI is fucking retarded.
I wish there were some huge beasts in the outskirts, imagine seeing a blue whale size shadow
It's kinda cool at first but I just lost interest a few hours in. Never bothered to get back to it.
You see this anons? This is a man who played and enjoyed the game, and is now resentful that it is no longer enjoyable. All of you will experience this, great beginning, followed by the eventual realization, and then a dull slog to the finish. If you want to enjoy it as much as possible, don't look up anything unless you absolutely can't find what you need, and for god's sake don't use the stasis rifle.
Don't really like survival games anymore but subnautica was pretty good. Bit spooky, exploring was fun, then once it stops being spooky and the exploration lessens you get a robot.
Managing the hunger and thirst is a bit of a pain at first but once you get some plants it becomes a non-factor.
its shit and its not even scary and its ugly. all it is is a grind.
Fun, but it turned out much shorter and lacking in content than I expected. Survival became trivial quickly, bases turned out to be largely pointless and only a means of recharging batteries, and the world was just too small to be interesting to explore with mostly empty biomes.
It's one of those indie games where you can see they had a cool concept, but lacked the ability to flesh it out fully, and at some point got tired of early access and pushed the thing out as it was.
Obligatory
Just for reference op, you will literally never see this face in the game itself, there are no mirrors or ways to see the MC’s face. This image only exists because people used a pc mod or noclip to view the face
>each biome has different fauna and completely different lifeforms that live thefe
Yeah, a couple.
I literally am too scared too play it. I've tried several times but I get too anxious leaving the first area and I just stay in the pod at night...
Jesus, the radiation did lots of damage didn't it.
If you like crafting games or underwater stuff yes otherwise no
Is the ice DLC out (and if it is, is it worth it?) I remember this being a decent time killer.
Image is from the trailer you dumbfuck. It is possible to see yourself in game and you look the same too.
How finished is the DLC?
This is a pretty good apt description. Even having 500 hours in this game, this is pretty accurate.
Good game, worth the price, but it's not all that spooky and it's more of an adventure game then a survival game. Plus, theres literally only 1 type of leviathan thats actually a threat, cause devs decided to spam it everywhere. So it's in every end game biome.
dios mio...
Its been on early access for awhile now
The last patch added some vehicles, not sure on the story tho
I loved it.
time for 500 posts and 250 image replies consisting of nothing but circular arguments about el goblino and the lack of spear guns
It's somewhere between DLC and full sequel. I'm playing it since I got spoiled a lot on the original, thought it looked fun but wanted to find surprises myself.
It's not dramatically different but the new vehicles and monsters are fun, the environments are interesting. It seems like there's some QoL improvements that they were able to implement by not including some of the old vehicles
