Hajime mentions her at one point if you examine random stuff, and you can examine the haunted looking mural she makes to get more comments out of it every chapter. You also find her grown up picture. Ishimaru literally gets nothing, and nobody cares that he died and the trial is more about figuring out how Hifumi moved the bodies and Celes' plan than about him. The characters also ignore that he was practically starving and distancing himself from the group and saying "that's what he deserves" while he was still alive, and Asahina even goes to caress and grieves Hifumi's body over his.
