Can you guys post examples of actual funny Japanese humor in games?
I know there's a bit of a culture clash going on whenever western audiences are exposed to japanese media, but it's insane to me to for a nation that's considered one of the smartest and most advanced in the world, most of their humor boils down to wacky exaggerated movements and overexplaining jokes to the point of them not being even remotely funny.

Before the train mission in FF8, you get a long and detailed rundown of how to advance past sensors that switch at timed intervals on one particular car. Then you get to the car in the mission and the sensors are malfunctioning so you can just run across.
