fuck this price though
>$149.99
I really wanna buy it regardless ngl
Not gonna lie, I’m very happy with the current state of wireless mice. I’ve always hated wire dragging on desk, and now it feels like you can finally go wireless without suffering from latency.
Still, fuck Logitech’s current pricing, mice costing over 99 dollarydoos are ridiculous.
Why are you posting about a mouse? I understand you use it to play video games but you don’t create a thread to talk about houses which you need to place your video games.
The pleb version of this is amazing so I guess that thing is even better. How does it charge?
The non wireless version got uncomfortably warm in my hand during use. Same with the 502 so I had to return them. Never had this problem with my 700s or my old mx revolution. What's up with that?
Looks like shit, why do people buy this overpriced garbage.
*602
Been using G602 for a couple years, never had this problem, what kind of batteries were you using?
but people do post their gaming stations ya faggot
>he doesn’t do his gaming in a 19th century colonial
fucking pleb
does this work with playerplay otherwise fuck this shit charging this.
>playerplay
Yes it works with their overpriced charging pad you mong
a cable
>Wireless
Shit
>I like cable drag
doesnt happen if you're a non-retard
>calls me mong
>uses a cable for charging
based retard.
how the fuck does wireless add 100 dollars? I would be more than happy to pay for a shittier wireless version because the mouse is useful for productivity and I wouldn't notice shit for games
>wireless
Name one (1) computer peripheral that performs better without a hardwire connection.
I'll wait.
Keep up with the times gramps
Logi came out with zero-latency zero-drop wireless that even outperforms many wired mice a decade ago. Look it up and stop living in 2006
Just regular Amazon rechargeables. It was warm enough that it wasnt hot enough to make my palms sweat but just enough that I could feel it. The WIRED g502 did the same thing.
How did they fix the power problem?
While it is nice that they added wireless to the mouse and would be found useful in some situations
Wired Mice are still far better in every way than wireless. There's a reason cables have been and are still in use for decades. It's why wired internet is still leagues better than wireless internet.
Until they figure out something that replaces cable/wires or new technology that makes wireless superior, wired mice are still the way to go.
I have this mouse and it's quite uncomfortable to use in the long run, also the rubber from the thumb rest wears down very easy. The G600 is still better in everyway
>Until they figure out something that replaces cable/wires or new technology that makes wireless superior,
They already figured it out dumbass
What is it?
Why are cables still being used?
If they did it should have been revolutionary and companies would be changing their cables to that.
>zero-latency zero-drop wireless
a first year engineering student can tell you that this is not physically possible lol
This
Wireless zero latency is impossible with today's technology. The best we can do is try to lower it as close to 0%
go to /g/
Let me just replace the cable with a massless frictionless one.
>wireless mouse
if you're gonna be a casual then do it all the way. sell your pc and get a console you fuckin faggots.
Fucking do some research you retarded nigger
i have the 502, it is truly a god tier mouse
but the $100 wireless tax lmao. these fags will milk it into the ground
>thinks wireless mice are bad
>uses a tv as a monitor
The only advantage (except for price point) to wired nowadays is that you never have to worry about recharging the battery and you never have to worry about the battery failing over time. High end wireless tech outperforms high end wired tech, but at a higher price tag.
>wireless
Boy I sure do love burning through batteries for no damn reason.
>not using rechargeables in the year 2019
Rechargeables run dry even faster.
>wireless
I'll take yikes for $400.
Yeah, I guess I gotta put my batteries on the charger four times over the course of a year, I can't argue against that.
Or you could never put batteries on a charger. That is the true power of wired mouse.
>wireless
Fucking zoomers lmao
>spend 5 minutes a year
OR
>have a cable in the way constantly
Dude you're like 23, tops
>cable
>in the way
What did he mean by this?
buy a real mouse
Higher end WiFi have lower latency than the average 1Gbps NIC
Same with Wireless mouses, since USB is flawed when it comes to response time.
FireWire was also better when it came to HDD and DAC, compared to USB.
The only thing that was as good was the PS/2 and Serial RS232
I use the wired G502. I used to use Razor mice, but man did they break quick. The 502 is nice so far but I kinda hate the scroll wheel. Also I had to disable almost every extra button on there besides the M4 and M5 buttons.
what's cs:s got to do with it?
cable in the way isn't really a problem for wired mouses, it's just you user
>non-removable battery
i bet those kikes did this to sell more $100 wireless charging mousepads.
why can't I just swap eneloops like any other wireless mouse?
Close. The Intellimouse Optical 2 is better, 2 more buttons.
Just get a 305.
If cable drag doesn't bother you, then be my guest, use a wired mouse. It annoys the fuck out of me and wireless doesn't have any real disadvantages.
>wireless
Hard pass. I'll stick with my wired G502
I just bought a spare one a few months back that is still in the box. I plan on keeping my new one until it dies and then breaking out my spare for when they inevitably stop making these
How is the new MX518? Did they change anything inside besides the sensor?
you fucking retard, the expensive logitech products have warranties that last a lot longer than what it says in the manual. they mailed me a free g700s after my g700 started double clicking 3 years after I bought it
Wired mice have latency too, brainlet, you're getting caught up in the semantics of 'zero'. When people say that, they just mean that wireless mice are at a point where their latency at close range is going to be on par with wired mice.
Not him, but while it's not a huge issue, occasionally I would bump my cord against parts of my desk/monitor and dust accumulation will increase resistance. Now that wireless mice are no longer a meme, I don't personally have a reason to use wired unless all my rechargeables take a shit, in which case I'll pull out my G Pro or 502.
>zero latency
It doesn't matter wether you're wireless or wired.
You don't even need a first year engineering student, every kindergarden child can tell you zero latency isn't physically possible, wired or not.
If I recall, I got my spare on sale for $30. That is worth it to me to have a spare of the best mouse I have ever used. I'll rely on the warranties if I have to, but what I fear is exactly what is posted in the OP. I don't want to end up being stuck because Logitech moves to a wireless version of the mouse and stops making/supporting the wired versions.
>hard pass
What's your reasoning? If it's latency, there's no longer a discernible difference at least with the lightspeed mice.
t. semi pro
you mean intellimouse 3, but now the intellimouse pro has come out its redundant, microsoft still haven't made a modern wmo
Still happy with my G700s
g502 isn't even that great. The g903 actually seems like it would be the best since having 2 buttons on each side allows you to use your pinky and ring fingers that normally don't do anything. Too bad the price is fucked.
mine is still in perfect working condition, best fucking mice I ever used.
Holy fuck that is hideous. Are all Logitech gaming mice like this?
No, the G700s is perfect.
I saw a few of these on sale at my local Walmart for $25, are they any good? They're just called Logitech Pro Mouse.
You know you can feel the drag and pull unless you balance the cable perfectly so it doesnt lay or touch anything ever? You know how you can take a wireleess mouse and operate it on your stupid fat belly and have no trouble with cables even if you managed to stick it inside your ass? You know that?
Is there a fucking mouse with the buttons next to left mouse that the 502, high DPI, but is fucking lighter? That's literally All I need. I'd just get the shitty 602 but that's has low max DPI which I need high dpi for a xim.
The fastest thing in the world is wireless (light).
This or the G903?
my 602's middle mouse click is only working 40% of the time.
I've had it for a month and never treated it poorly.
should I try to fix it myself or will one of you logitech shills get me a support ticket?
Or a job in QA/Human Factors so I can use my shitty degree.
Beware that the chrome paint in the mouse wheel wears of, exposing the metal which then becomes rusted scraping your fingers
Or I could just use a good mouse that doesn't weigh a metric tonne.
>not buying the new MX518
>logitechg.com
The g502 isn't thicc enough for me.
>unless you balance the cable perfectly
It hangs off the back of my table and never touches anything ever. If you blame the negligible weight of the cord for a lost kill, you are just bad.
I barely move my mouse more than 2 inches in any given direction
Fuck outta here with that overdesigned bulky ass transformer lookin shit.
g305 still the best
