The game has so much potential because the core gameplay was so fun especially if it could be improved. The setting actually has so much potential because of the divinity aspect to it that allows so much creativity and change.
If they can figure out how to best use this game they can make something amazing and make tons of money. I'm not talking about even reinventing the wheel here, just logical progression to take what DD already does great and focus on doing that the best.

I have an Xbox One X and a really nice 4K TV. I also have a Nintendo Switch. Is there any reason to buy the Switch version if I am a home body who doesn’t travel or go out? I’ve looked at videos and Dragons Dogma doesn’t take advantage of the X1X’s horsepower at all. The Nintendo Switch version has a lot of pop in with environments but still looks cool. I wish the Dark Arison remastered had 4K and HDR and X Enhanced but I know Dragons Dogma 2 will if ever confirmed. In the mean time do i go with the newer Switch version for $29.99 or Xbox One X for $19.99

How come I don't hear the "frying into the free" song? That said I just recently played the game but have been seeing DD memes ever since it was released but haven't been hearing the song on my journey to Gran Soren. Also what the fuck are those bandits with armor? You can't even put a dent on them without the advanced magic/combat skills meanwhile the chimeras in the south are recieving it just fine. Are the damage values in this game fucked?

V was only a poor fit for DMC. It would fit DD really well, although the Arisen in the vocation would likely have a secondary weapon to attack with as well.

The Valkyria Chronicles style would be perfect for it but I'd wonder how you would tackle the gameplay side of it. They could ramp up the monsters and have a cooking segment like Dragon Crown but that feels a bit cheap.

The toughest part is the heroes are actually quite humble. They pull off some improbable odds, but they aren't very videogamey. Just folks wearing armor and trying not to get eaten by things bigger than themselves.
